I'm Tyler, as always, and I'm so glad to have you here today.
Starting point is 00:00:32 This week, we've been talking about how to let go of comparison. And why is stopping comparison so important? Well, because nobody's journey is the same. We're all coming from a different point A, and we're seeking a different point B. We want different experiences from life. So comparison isn't really helpful. We're not comparing apples to apples. Now, it is important to recognize that looking to others
Starting point is 00:01:01 that looking to others can be useful for getting ideas and inspiration. But we all have our own path and our own timeline. That's what makes life interesting. So today, we'll do some affirmations to help strengthen these ideas in the mind. Now, if you're in bed, use this moment to roll over and make your way up and out of bed. The people who are the happiest, the most fulfilled, and usually the most successful in life, they're not that way because they're the richest or the strongest or the fastest or the smartest. It's because they choose to show up every day and live life in their own unique way.
Starting point is 00:01:44 So choose today to be one of those people. And once you're up and about, you can do these affirmations in any way that you'd like. You can repeat them out loud or silently in your mind. You can simply listen along as you go through your morning routine. Or, for the deepest experience, you can find a comfortable position, close your eyes, and settle into a meditative state. But no matter how you choose to do these affirmations, let's begin by taking one deep breath. So inhale, fill all the way up, hold at the top, and then exhale, release. Great.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Now, let's turn to our affirmations. I am unique and have my own set of strengths and talents. I appreciate my own journey. I am exactly where I need to be. I am enough just as I am. I celebrate the successes of others without feeling diminished. I choose to focus on my own progress. I am proud of my achievements and the effort I put in to attain them.
Starting point is 00:04:12 I honor my own path and timeline. I am confident in my own abilities. I believe in my potential. My only competition is with who I was yesterday. I surround myself with positive influences that uplift and inspire me. I am grateful to be uniquely me. Fantastic. Let's go through all of those one more time again.
Starting point is 00:05:53 I am unique and have my own set of strengths and talents. I appreciate my own. journey. I am exactly where I need to be. I am enough just as I am. I celebrate the successes of others without feeling diminished. I choose to focus on my own progress. I am proud of my achievements and the effort I put in to attain them. I honor my own path and timeline. I am confident in my own abilities. I believe in my potential. My only competition is with who I was yesterday. I surround myself with positive influences that uplift and inspire me.
Starting point is 00:08:43 I am grateful to be uniquely me. All right. Great. That finishes up our affirmations for today. Let's complete this practice in the same way we started with a deep breath. So inhale, filling all the way up, the deepest breath you've taken yet today. hold, and then exhale slowly, just let the air fall back out. And if you had your eyes closed, then now's a great time to open them and come out of that.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Well, my friend, I hope you enjoyed all of the episodes this week, and I hope that they have helped you let go of unhealthy comparison. Remember, we are all on our own journey and our own timeline. We're all trying to tell a different story. We're making a different movie. So don't spend your whole life watching someone else's movie or wondering whether yours is the best. Because if you do that,
Starting point is 00:10:13 you're going to miss all of the good parts of your own movie, your own life. So go out today and be uniquely you. Nobody else can do that. And if you do, then I'm sure you're willing. one step and you're one day closer to the life that you dream of. I'll see you back here next time. Until then, go out, be yourself, and have an absolutely fantastic day.
