We have so many choices in love. life. But so often, we choose to prioritize and focus on things other than ourselves. This meditation will encourage you to choose yourself. It's a powerful visualization that will help you heal
Starting point is 00:00:57 from the inside out. So find a comfortable position that you'd like to meditate in. Whatever that looks like for your body and the space you're in. And once you're there, take a nice deep breath in, hold at the top, and then exhale, release. And as you let that air go, you can gently close your eyes, settling into this first moment. Begin to turn your awareness inward. This is your time You've earned these moments of peace and quiet, this opportunity to connect with yourself, to nurture that love and acceptance, which have always been living deep within you. It's with that slow and steady breath, moving at your own natural pace. And as you connect with that rhythm of your breath and your body,
Starting point is 00:03:09 Imagine what it feels like to fully choose yourself, to stand in complete acceptance of who you are, embracing yourself, your needs and desires with kindness look like in your life. How does choosing yourself and prioritizing yourself play out? Picture yourself waking up each and every day with a deep sense of self-worth, knowing that you deserve love not only from others, but from yourself, knowing that your time will be spent, filling your own needs, chasing your own dreams. See yourself making choices that nourish you. Choosing relationships that uplift you, taking care of your body and mind,
Starting point is 00:06:08 speaking to yourself with encouragement and compassion. What does it feel like to make choices that put you first at honor your worth, your needs and desires? Imagine yourself thriving. moving through life with confidence and ease and notice any sensations that brings to your body perhaps a feeling of lightness, warmth or a sense of peace, and when you choose yourself, you'll begin to be surrounded by people who love and support you exactly as you are, people who celebrate your uniqueness.
Starting point is 00:08:35 See those people surrounding you, supporting you. See what happens to your face and your energy. Once you choose yourself, picture your smile, radiant, happy, and free. See your body healthy and strong. full of vitality and energy. You are worthy of love. You are worthy of support. And it all begins with the love and support you give to yourself.
Starting point is 00:10:29 So take a nice deep breath in. And as you exhale, send away any lingering doubts or self-judgments. These are not yours to carry. and choose right now to affirm yourself by repeating these words. I choose me. I honor myself. I deserve my own love, kindness, and care. Let these words settle into you.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Allow them to be the roots that anchor you in this choice, this love, this love, this acceptance. It's always yours. It's always there. It's always within you. Whenever you need to access it. Now enjoy this feeling of self-love. For one more minute, before we wrap up.
Starting point is 00:12:55 All right, my friend, it's time to close out our meditation. So begin to bring yourself back, noticing whatever supports. porting your body, any sounds going on around you, and that sensation of the air on your skin. Take one final deep breath in, filling up with all of this love you have for yourself, and then exhale, release. And when you're ready, you can gently open your eyes, gather yourself, and come out of this. Well, my friend, I hope your soul,
Starting point is 00:14:40 is feeling refreshed and renewed after this meditation. Carry this sense of self-love and acceptance, not only today, but always. You are worthy of it. And remember that if you don't choose to prioritize yourself, if you don't choose to fulfill your own needs and desires and chase your own dreams, then you are fulfilling those
