Hi, and welcome to Wake Me Up, the podcast, where morning people are made. This is a quick episode for mornings when you've overslept, feel a bit off, or maybe you just missed your normal routine. If you enjoy this episode, you have a fellow listener, Charlene, to thank for it. This podcast is all about you, the listeners. So send me your requests at wakemeuppodcast.com.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Now let's get started. We're in a bit of a time crunch this morning, and that's fine. There's nothing wrong with that. But on these days, it's even more important to take a moment, even if it's a bit of just 30 seconds to take a deep breath and collect yourself. So let's do that now. Wherever you are, just pause for a second. If you're in a situation where you can close your eyes and you'd like to do that, go for it. Just take a long, slow, deep breath in. Hold it at the top and then release. one more breath in
Starting point is 00:01:41 hold it and release that's right now quickly scan down your body from head to toe and just note how everything's feeling don't make any judgments just take notes
Starting point is 00:02:04 that's right great now if your eyes were closed you can reopen them and as you collect yourself and start to go about your day, just try to remember a few things. Remember that it's okay to be imperfect.
Starting point is 00:02:39 You shouldn't be perfect. In fact, some of the most beautiful things in life come from mistakes. And I prefer what Bob Ross says, which is that there are no mistakes, only happy accidents. Also, remember that what? Whatever lies ahead of you, you can handle it. You can overcome any obstacle and reach any goal if you just commit your mind and effort to it. And finally, remember that the universe works in mysterious ways.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Things may seem to be completely wrong at first glance, but then when you look again, they'll turn out to be beautiful. Instead of perceiving something as a setback, try to see it as a way to learn and grow. Because that's what life is all about. So don't beat yourself up. Learn, grow, and enjoy the ride. That's all for now. Stay positive.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Keep smiling. And don't let anyone take that away from you. I'll talk to you soon. And until then, I hope you have a fantastic day.
