Hey there, good morning.
Welcome to Wake Me Up and to this guided morning meditation that will help you tune in to your
intuition. We all have an innate system of knowledge and wisdom that's built into us. It's part of our
subconscious mind, but we so often lose touch with it because of the busyness and hecticness of life.
This meditation will help you tap back in to that intuitive sense. So go ahead and find a
comfortable position that you'd like to meditate in. And if you're starting from bed, I do recommend that you at
at least roll over and sit up, but that's simply so you don't fall back asleep.
Feel free to do this meditation in any position that works best for you and the space you're in.
And once you've found that comfortable position, just allow yourself to settle in.
Take a deep breath, fill all the way up through your chest and your belly,
hold at the top, and then exhale, release, and go ahead and slowly close your eyes.
Use this first moment of meditation just to help your body continue settling down.
Mentally set aside anything else you have going on today.
It'll still be there when you're done.
Allow yourself to relax into this moment.
Soften your face.
Drop your jaw and relax your shoulders down.
And for this first moment or so,
simply follow the natural rise and fall of your own breath
at whatever pace feels natural, easy, and smooth to you.
You know what that breath is.
You don't need to try to find it.
Your body knows it.
So maybe just try to follow that breath rather than lead it.
And as you continue breathing and settling deeper and deeper,
you may find that your mind wanders off to this or that.
And that's just fine.
There's nothing wrong with that.
That's what the mind is designed to do.
But right now, we want to encourage it to soften down.
So when you notice that it's wandered off, just take note and bring yourself back to following the breath.
Bring to mind a specific area of your life where you want more guidance or clarity.
and in your mind.
Request guidance on this area from your inner self.
From your subconscious intuition, say to yourself,
help me find my way.
Help me see what I'm not seeing currently.
And simply open your mind to anything that comes up.
Observe the thoughts and ideas that arise
without filtering or analyzing them with your rational mind.
And recognize that the intuition and the subconscious
don't always work in perfectly organized sentences.
So even if the responses seem incomplete,
try to refrain from judgment,
labeling things as wrong or right,
resist the urge to control or immediately find,
the answer. Simply
acknowledge whatever
comes to the surface.
As though your subconscious
is going through the filing cabinets
of what you know
about yourself and the
world.
And it's just pulling information
that might be helpful.
And if you feel inclined,
of course,
you can ask more questions,
but you don't need to.
Trust that you're intuitive.
knows what you're getting at.
It knows what you're seeking
and trust that it will communicate with you
at the right time
and in a way you'll understand.
Rest assured that your intuitive senses
have acknowledged your request
and the answers will come to light in due course.
All right.
Well, it's about time
to begin wrapping up our meditation.
So gently start bringing yourself back.
Notice whatever's supporting you,
whether that's a chair, the floor, or anything else.
Notice that touch of the air on your skin
and any sounds going on around you.
Take one final deep breath in.
The deepest one you've taken yet today.
Hold at the top.
And then exhale, release.
And go ahead and slowly,
Open your eyes.
Just take a second to gather yourself and come out of that.
Well, my friend, I hope you enjoyed this meditation that has left you feeling calm and a bit more in touch with your own intuition.
Remember what I said during this meditation.
The intuition isn't like the rational mind.
It doesn't work in organized sentences.
It gives us ideas, nuggets, breadcrumbs on a trail.
that lead us down the right path.
So simply acknowledge whatever came up.
And keep your eyes peeled as you go about your day and the coming weeks
for more of those breadcrumbs.
The more you keep your mind open,
the better your intuitive sense will become.
But that's all for today.
Thanks so much for tuning in and being here.
It's always a pleasure to have you.
