Starting point is 00:00:00 What's new, what's new with Menace? What's up everybody and welcome to another edition of What's New Pod. I am Menace, I'm joined by Borch, a.k.a. Brett. He's an audio expert and syndication expert with the Woody Show Morning Show that you can hear across the United States and around the world on AFN. His former assistant, Eric, a.k.a. E Soundwave on Instagram, who also works for the NFL Podcasting Network, cannot join us today because he is at Disneyland. Man, is he going to be upset today. He's missing out. I know. So much he's going to be missing out on. But join us
Starting point is 00:00:36 from Whittier, California. That'd be Tyler, a.k.a. Heavy T from the Better Sports Network, which is an app that you can download. You can check out a bunch of shows about sports betting. That should be very interesting to you. Tyler, are you really, really busy with the NFL in the playoffs? Yeah, I guess you could say it's definitely the busy period. I'm happy to say out of the games this weekend, I picked five of the six winners correctly. Stupid Chargers screwed me over, but that's okay.
Starting point is 00:01:08 No, wait. But no. Are you betting now? Are you a regular bettor? Here's the thing. So in California, you can't bet on these things. You can't go to a casino. You can't do it on your mobile phone because that prop didn't pass.
Starting point is 00:01:22 So I'm just picking for the fun of it. And I figure this is a way to help me strengthen my own knowledge. it on your mobile phone because that crop didn't pass so i'm just picking for the fun of it and i figure you know this is a way to help me strengthen my own knowledge i've been diving into each team a little bit here and there so but you know what it's obviously paying off because my predictions are getting better so how about this how about this i'm gonna be in las vegas this weekend you give me some bets to put some money on and i'll throw it down and i'll split the winnings with you if we make anything how about that oh okay and you said you're going to be there next weekend this weekend this weekend okay oh not so confident now no no no no i'm thinking i'm
Starting point is 00:01:56 trying to remember what the spread is but i if i was you i would pick san francisco to beat dallas this weekend and i would pick san francisco to win the whole thing. Oh, wow. The whole enchilada? That's my whole prediction. I feel like he's placating. I think he's placating to the Bay Area peep in the room and just go, yeah. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Bet on that because, you know what? Here's the thing. Maybe Tyler isn't betting, but, you know, probably I bet that his friends in Texas may be betting. And, you know, Tyler just might agree with their picks and might be getting a little Venmo back. On the side. They are definitely not betting because it is illegal over there as well.
Starting point is 00:02:35 So you can't do that. No one can have any fun. It's not America. And, you know what? It pains me to say it because, honestly, I hate the 49ers. I really do. But they're just that good, dude. They're going to say it because I honestly, I hate the 49ers. I really do. But they're just that good, dude. They're going to win it all.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Yeah, with their third string quarterback, they've been killing it. And that's not even a joke. We'll see what happens this weekend. We'll see if Tyler's predictions are right. But, Brett, did you know this? You know that Tyler was actually at an event that we were at at the same time. Really? Called Alter Ego. What? Oh, oh yes did you know that he was there i actually had no idea he was there dude this guy i had no idea brett was
Starting point is 00:03:14 there nobody did this guy and i didn't hook him up had floor seats so i'm walking on the floor and guess what guess who's waving at me it's heavy t aka tyler mr vip himself on the floor, and guess what? Guess who's waving at me? It's Heavy T, a.k.a. Tyler, Mr. VIP himself, on the floor for all these amazing bands. He had kick-ass seats. And you just walk up to him, he's like, what's up? What's up? I actually, Tyler, you don't know this. I have video of you on the floor.
Starting point is 00:03:41 I did not post it, though. I was told that you do have video of me on the floor. I do have video. I just forgot to post it, but I'll tag you. I think it was during Fall Out Boy. It was definitely during Fall Out Boy because my friend was like, do you realize menace just walked by you? I'm like, oh, where? And then I look, and I saw your backpack.
Starting point is 00:03:58 I was like, oh, I bet you he probably filmed me. That's probably how this went down. Brett and I actually had to work the event. You enjoyed the event. What did you like most about Alter Ego? If people don't know, it was a big alternative show that iHeart puts on at the Forum in Los Angeles. You know, I had never seen any of those bands live. So let's just go into it with that.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Are you sure that you haven't seen them live? Because you told us you'd never seen Green Day live before, but you saw them with us at iheart festivals just confirming also true okay 100 never had seen any of them live okay fallout boy was amazing muse absolutely killed it they were great phoenix was really good uh rosalynn was actually surprisingly very good because i had no idea who she was before that she was also very good church is had no idea who she was before that. She was also very good. Church is really good. Red hot chili peppers, but dude, nothing top Jack white, just ripping the ceiling off that arena, dude, just ripping the whole place apart.
Starting point is 00:04:56 I've been hearing amazing show. Yeah, it was that good. And you know what? I like, I obviously know who Jack white is, but I don't know who any of his bandmates are that drummer dude that dude absolutely killed it that night like the whole band was just in flow amazing set felt something like it was five minutes when it was really probably a half hour 40 minutes it was amazing and you might not even know the songs because he's just like riffing on a guitar but but whatever he's doing, it sounds good. It's awesome.
Starting point is 00:05:27 My recap of Alter Ego from the backstage area, pretty fun. A lot of great food for free. Drinks were flowing. Nice. That's my experience. I don't really get to see a lot of the bands. I was the hero backstage, by the way. So backstage, there's like this oh
Starting point is 00:05:45 like vip thing for the people that help fund it like our clients and stuff like that right and there was this setup it was a drum kit okay and it was supposed to be meant for people taking photos backstage with the drum kit and it said alter ego pretty cool pretty fun yeah but kids got a hold of the sticks for the drum kit in the VIP. And they were banging on these drum kits for like an hour. Everybody started complaining. And I said, you know what, guys? I'll take care of the situation.
Starting point is 00:06:15 I waited for like two seconds for these kids to walk away from this drum set. I grabbed the sticks and I hid them behind a couch backstage. And I was celebrated. There was going to be a parade for me on how I took care of the situation and people were really happy. Also, what I did backstage was there was a television that no one can find the remote control for. It was a Samsung television and it just had like logos on and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:06:43 But people were begging. They really wanted to see that Chargers versus Jacksonville game. Okay. So I was able to hack the television through the Samsung app to change the channel to get the game on, and people were celebrating me for that. So I was the hero of Alter Ego. You were the backstage security enforcement tech guy.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Yes. Also hitting the floor to make sure that Heavy T had a good time on the floor, which you didn't even know he was there. I know. Well, look at you, Menace. Thank you. You were doing something. Hold on, air horns.
Starting point is 00:07:17 You were doing things that weren't even your job that night. I was being of service. I guess you could say you switched to your alter ego. Yeah, that was a really bad joke. It's okay. I don't have time to hit the crickets, okay? I'm just like, pause. Now, Brett, you were part of the broadcast.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Did any famous people come by during your broadcast? How honest do you want me to be right now? No. No, be honest. No one. to be right now? No. No, be honest. No one. Really? No one. No.
Starting point is 00:07:48 So they were recording the interviews in another room? I believe the interviews were done after me. I was only in charge of the pre-show. Oh. So I was in charge of the pre-show, and it was pretty much a favor just to come out and do it. So it was fun, man. I drove through the rain.
Starting point is 00:08:04 You know what's funny? You know you could drive from Burbank all the way to Englewood on the streets, and it's faster than the freeway. Really? Even in the rain. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's way faster.
Starting point is 00:08:13 It's like a straight line all the way there. I have never tried that. Oh, I did it there and on the way back. Is this because you have the new car and you don't want to be on the highway? No, I saw the traffic. I hate traffic, man. You have no idea. I'd rather just keep driving.
Starting point is 00:08:26 You should have been like me. I got there two hours before I was supposed to be there. My call time and I sat in my car. What was your call time? My call time was two in the afternoon. I got there at noon. Okay. So my call time was 1.30, right? So I got there 1.20, did my setup, got everything set, sat there until about three, recorded everything I needed, set everything off. I was did my setup, got everything set, sat there until about 3, recorded everything I needed, set everything off. I was in my car heading back to Burbank at 5 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Wow, look at you. I was done. You know, and unlike Tyler, I didn't have floor seats. Yeah, you weren't Mr. VIP. I was not Mr. VIP. I was not treated and wined and dined like heavy tea to experience the true atmosphere of alter ego. So I went, you know what?
Starting point is 00:09:11 I'm going to go freaking play Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at home. That's what I'm going to do. Peace out of here. I mean, if anyone treated anyone, I treated myself because I paid for that. Are you paid? Yeah, I paid, dude. I didn't hook him up. Yeah, Menace didn't hook me up. I didn't
Starting point is 00:09:30 ask for any favors. I paid my way because it was people who I wanted to see. So you're telling me not even a milk mama came through with free tickets for you. I have grown up and I pay my own way. Let's save this sound bite for the next time he needs to get free tickets to something yes
Starting point is 00:09:47 make sure you specifically save it as the part i've grown up right there all right how about this now eric is not here so i would really like his input if he was impressed with the pokemon interview that we did brett and i with sarah nana chenny the voice of ash kashum now tyler did you see it uh i saw the instagram clips i have not got a chance to actually listen to the entire interview but i did see the instagram clips and i could say i don't think i've ever seen bort that happy ever in his life i mean it's happened before but yeah definitely i was very caught on camera yeah i was very excited very stoked about it it's not often that i i think the last interview i did was over a year ago so to have like my first one back be the voice of
Starting point is 00:10:36 ask ketchum from pokemon is like going to the upper echelon of people i'd want to talk to yeah and also props to mess because menace makes me look good man like like no joke i was watching it back i'm like oh man he did a really good job i mean that's what i went to school for video editing oh that's true tell a whole story in a minute and a half oh it's not film it's video editing which one is it i went to film and video it was a movie and television see what i went to school for oh yeah i'm trying to get it right because now you're making me sway the other way with describing this stuff but yeah i assume that eric had to be very very jealous and very excited about it because i didn't hear from him for a few days so i think he was jealous he was not here i know because
Starting point is 00:11:18 if there's anyone that loves pokemon as much as me it's er Eric. Oh, for sure. We have photos of him dressed up in Pokemon characters. There's still Pokemon on the walls from him. Yes. If you have not watched it, go check out my Instagram or Bort's Instagram at Menace, M-E-N-A-C-E or at St. Bort. There's going to be a lot more video coming your way. And if you haven't heard the full interview, you can go to our last episode at What's New Pod pod just go to at what's new pod dot com or just check your feed so speaking of school brett and tyler i'm actually back in school currently every thursday i'm taking a class for metaverse building how to the the starting point of building worlds and images and all kinds of animations inside the metaverse.
Starting point is 00:12:07 And I'm telling you, it's rough, man. It's like the one thing that I've never been good at is remembering keystrokes. Okay. And like, it's nothing compared to video. So video, super simple compared to what I'm working with now there's a trillion billion different options within the program of building this kind of stuff do you feel like you're on an old like 80s computer where you had to hit a bunch of keystrokes just to make like one line on the program appear yes so i was explaining to you the other day so let's say i made like a little block inside the metaverse right right i put some texture on it okay cool simple easy yeah eventually it becomes simple and easy but then i go to see what it looks
Starting point is 00:12:52 like in the metaverse and then it's completely black you know like why is it completely black oh i actually have to add a light above it like how it would be in the real world i would have to add a sun so it would project light onto my image and how does the sun look like on this image or if i just took a lamp how would a lamp look on top of that image there's like so many different factors that you have to think about yeah it is nuts you can take blades of grass and you're like okay add wind like how fast is the wind it's just mind-blowing and it's hard to remember everything and i get quizzed on it okay and i uh my last quiz i got a b i mean b is pretty good though for me it's like a plus plus now did you ever see yourself going back to school for one anything but like just the idea of you being in a class whether it's physical or virtual
Starting point is 00:13:47 did you see yourself going back and doing something like this ever no but i always feel like in our industry if you don't keep on trying to learn stuff you just get left in the past yeah to be honest because i know djs that just like they hit a certain point and they get comfortable and then then you never hear about them ever again because they never like started oh i'm gonna start posting my interviews on on instagram i'm gonna post them on tiktok they never went above and beyond and i think the metaverse as much as people crap on it right now it will be the next wave when the goggles become cheaper or apple embraces it or something and i want to be able to be on the ground floor of that yeah no i mean it makes complete and total sense like if you think about it everything
Starting point is 00:14:37 even though it looks like it's the same price now that it used to be back then it's a lot cheaper if you look at like inflation and stuff like hell yeah like computers were five thousand dollars back in the day right and and that was you could still look at today and be like oh a computer's five thousand dollars but that is super top of the line and that's not with inflation you go back and add inflation into it it's like fifteen thousand dollars for a computer yeah It's insane. Or even video game consoles, they are the same price now that they pretty much were back then. It's just that inflation and cutting edge. And it just, it's so insane. But back to your point of people that stop learning, we had a conversation about this and I told you I'm behind on a couple of things that I'm like, I need to get ahead of
Starting point is 00:15:21 these things. And even I was thinking of going back to school to learn another language, kind of similar to our friend or our not friend Seabass over there. And I'm like, if I go to take a class, I know it'll be easier because someone knows how to teach it. They know how to get you into it. And the worst thing to not learning is that somebody is going to look at you one day for a job or in a job position. They're going to be like, you don't know how to do this. Why are you here? Yeah. You know what? To be perfectly honest, I've been thinking about going back to PCC just to learn how to video edit. Cause that's one thing I don't know. I know I could probably learn these days. Yeah. I know I can maybe learn the basics on like YouTube or something like that. And who knows, maybe I may be able to teach myself and, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:03 just figure it out. Cause I'm a really quick learner with that stuff but you know worst case scenario going back to pasadena city college just for that one class not a bad idea i mean it really is you got you got to adapt or you're gonna die dude it's really that simple dude you know what they have at pcc shout out to pcc by the way it's uh oh yeah part of the community colleges here in los angeles or los angeles county uh pasadena community college they have a fantastic yeah part of the community colleges here in los angeles or los angeles county pasadena community college they have a fantastic swap meet by the way they have a 3d printing class and shop no so if you want a 3d print they have like all their test models in the window you could just go there take a class learn how to do all that it looks so freaking cool that's
Starting point is 00:16:41 something i would want to learn immediately and i'll tell you this virtual learning is actually really good for me because i'm able to go back and watch the class like my past class that i had i watched the whole thing it's three hours i watched it three times yeah just so i can slow down things i can pause them i can try to figure out something you know like when i'm initially watching the class, I'm just trying to keep up when the teacher is speaking. Yeah. And being able to go back and rewatch everything and slow it down and go step by step is freaking awesome.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Well, yeah. And especially for a computer based class like that, where you need to know the key strokes, you need to know which option, what everything is done. Like think of all the people that we've had to train here in this job and this pertains to anyone that's even fascinated with radio podcasting the woody show or any of that there is a lot of training that goes into a lot of the jobs that we do and not everyone gets it immediately it's a lot of repetition and figuring it out and for tyler if you know how to multi-track audio edit that is the easiest step into video editing.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Oh, definitely. You know what? The funny thing is, so one of the things when I started with the new network, I wanted to create different show opens, whether they included highlights, different types of music, you know, whatever, blah, blah, blah, blah. And for a lot of that, you have to use multitrack.
Starting point is 00:18:02 So I kind of just figured it out taught myself how to do it i actually really enjoy doing it it's pretty fun it is super fun yeah and this also goes for anyone that wants to learn it and to take a class the easiest thing you could do is just try it just try it out yourself okay not just like sit there and oh i shoulda woulda coulda just try it and if it's not for you it's's not for you. Yeah, literally. It's fine. The program Menace is learning on right now, I have it. I tried it. When I can't figure this crap out, I'll move on to something else.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Or you can go the Menace route and go, okay, I'm going to keep going with this. If anybody wants to know, the school that I'm going to is the UCLA Extension Program. Nice. They have classes for everything and anything you can think of. You guys want some food news? Oh yeah. Hell yes. Oh yeah. Give it to me.
Starting point is 00:18:50 I'm hungry right now. Tyler's been waiting this whole time. I actually don't have a lot of food news. I don't have a lot of food news happening in the first couple weeks here of the new year, but Pizza Hut gives a taste of nostalgia with the return of the big New Yorker. Oh, yeah. Okay. This pizza I do not remember, but it is definitely New York style.
Starting point is 00:19:11 It is thin crust, huge slices. Okay. I'll take it. Hold on. I'll try it. Hold on. I need to look at this real quick before I give my rating. Tyler, what about you?
Starting point is 00:19:22 Do you remember it? You know, I'm never going to turn down a pizza, dude. Whether it be from Costco, Chuck E. Cheese, or Frozen in the grocery store, I'll still eat it. Okay. I remember the ads for this, but this was after the Bigfoot pizza. Which is my favorite! Thank you! Bring back the
Starting point is 00:19:38 Bigfoot pizza! Every sports game, every boxing match, every holiday, Bigfoot pizza! Pizza Hut! This probably started, every holiday, Bigfoot Pizza. Pizza Hut. Oh, yeah. This probably started our fascination with Bigfoot. Probably.
Starting point is 00:19:50 What else would it have been? The New Yorker looks really good. I'm going to try it. It looks good, but it's not the same. Because the Bigfoot, though, it was so thin, you could eat so much of it and be so happy. But yeah, I mean, it's pizza. Let's eat it. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:20:03 But it's not available until the end of the month. Okay. Well, we're getting started. We'll get something else. Other pizza. We're getting started. Okay. How about this?
Starting point is 00:20:14 Now, Tyler, this is one of your loves. In-N-Out Burger. Okay. Yes. It's been all over the news here, but we haven't talked about it yet. They are expanding. They're trying to go nationwide, and they're starting with Tennessee. They're going to build a huge office in Nashville. Now, Tyler, you lived without In-N-Out Burger for about two years. Yeah. I mean, I'd say closer to maybe like a year
Starting point is 00:20:37 because about a year after I got there, three In-N-Outs popped up in the Houston area. Oh, really? I didn't even know. know oh no no there's there's three over there one's in stafford which was the closest to me i did not know and once once in katie and i can't remember where the third one is but yeah so there's three of them in the houston area now i will say this this is how i expect it's going to go down for nashville don't judge it within the first month or two because i remember i went when that in and out first open and it didn't taste the same. Something was off about it. It wasn't sure what it was, but I think at that point they were still figuring out the
Starting point is 00:21:12 truck routes and how they were going to get the meat over there. So they don't freeze the patties. Everything is super fresh. Yeah. I tried it again a couple months later, tasted a lot better, tasted pretty close to home. So yeah, I mean, just give it a month or two before you actually try it. But I remember when these In-N-Outs popped up in Texas, these lines
Starting point is 00:21:30 were like two miles deep. Oh yeah. These things were mega long. It was like when the Chick-fil-A opened over here across the street. There's lines everywhere. Or the Raising Cane's down the street. There was car lines for two months. Blocks and blocks, man.
Starting point is 00:21:46 How about this news? How do you feel about it? So there's Sprite. Then there's Sierra Mist that people hate on. It's all right. It's all right. But now they're getting rid of Sierra Mist, and they're bringing Starry. It's the replacement for Sierra Mist.
Starting point is 00:22:01 I don't even understand. Like, what's the difference? They're rebranding everything and adding new flavor. So Sierra Mist is done. R.I.P. And you now have Starry. Allegedly, it hits different. I mean, I could see that because didn't they say, like, I didn't know this,
Starting point is 00:22:18 but Sierra Mist is the rebranded Slice, right? Oh, yeah. I forgot. And I never once tasted Slice when I tried Sierra Mist. I'm like, this is not Slice. I don't like it. I was a Slice person. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:22:32 I don't need to try it. I'm fine. If you want to make me happy, bring back Orange Slice. That would make me so happy. Yes, Orange Slice was the ish, dude. Oh, so good. Oh, yeah. Oh, the Grape Slice.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Oh, Grape Slice. Yes. Oh, Grape Slice was really good. I do remember that. Hold the grape slice. Oh, grapes. Yes. Oh, grape slice is really good. Hold on. Any other stuff we need? Oh, okay. For any diet soda drinkers, does anyone else remember when Code Red, they made a diet
Starting point is 00:22:55 code? Oh, so good. Diet Code Red. Yes. I was able to lose a couple pounds. It was great. Real quick on the soda trade, something I figured out while I was living to lose a couple pounds. It was great. Real quick, on the soda trade, something I figured out while I was living in Texas, they don't have cactus cooler over there.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Nobody has any idea in Texas what cactus cooler is. It's regional. I had no idea that it was regional. What Coca-Cola and Pepsi and stuff did, not only do the regions have either corn syrup or cane sugar, right? But certain sodas are only available in certain markets because they're like, that's where they sell.
Starting point is 00:23:31 So Cactus Cooler, only on the West Coast. Well, I know on the East Coast, they have a thing, and I don't know if it was available in Texas, Tyler. Cheer Wine. Have you ever heard of that? Never heard of it. It's not wine. It's soda. Cheer Wine?
Starting point is 00:23:44 It's called Cheer Wine. It's not wine. It's soda. Cheer wine. It's called cheer wine. It's pretty good. I've only had it like two times. But look up cheer wine. I'm going to have to stop by BevMo and see if they have these in stock or something. I don't think they will. The best places you could do to find a soda like this, there used to be a chain called Rocket Fizz. I was just thinking that.
Starting point is 00:24:05 The only Rocket Fizz that's still around in the LA County area is actually in Ventura County. That's a little far. Or if you're on the way to Vegas. Stick with me here. You go the way through Palmdale to go to Vegas. I know it's a little back way.
Starting point is 00:24:21 You go through Little Rock. There's a place called Charlie Brown's. They have sodas from all over the place. Really? Oh, is that the place that has a bunch of hot sauces as well? Uh-huh. Tons of hot sauces, tons of gimmicky things. Oh, I know that place. Yeah. I think they had like ostrich burgers or something when I was a kid. But yeah, they have sodas from all over the place. That's the place to go to find something. All right. Well, I was going to talk about this a little bit later, but it kind of goes with what we're just talking about. How's the working out going, Tyler? So here's the thing. Haven't started it. Okay. Haven't started it yet. Uh, that's mainly because I've been trying to pay off other things first
Starting point is 00:24:59 before I get the gym pass. So I haven't started the working out a bit yet, but I've started to change, uh, some of the stuff I eat, you know, I'm trying to eat a lot less bread. I'm trying to cut down the portion size so far. So good. It's a minor work in progress, but come, uh, what's today the 18th. So literally two days from now, I will be getting a gym pass. My brother's already recommended. He's already agreed to go with me too, which will help a lot. Yeah. Yeah. That helps a lot.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Yeah. So that'll definitely help a lot. He goes to, um, I think it's a, I think it's a brand off of, uh, LA fitness.
Starting point is 00:25:34 I think it's like eSporta or something like that. Like I've seen those. Uh, yeah. So the closest one from us, I think there's one in the Habra and I think there's one in Santa Fe Springs and he goes to both. So he's like, just come with me.
Starting point is 00:25:44 I'll help you out. And I'm like, all right, let's do it. Nice. Okay. I have one comment on one question. Unless Mattis, you had one. Go for it. Yes. Okay. One comment, Tyler, you know, that exercising, you can do anything like go take a walk. You can lift some weights at home. You can lift a grocery bag. You don't have to have a gym membership. You don't want to go zero to 100 i mean that doesn't work yeah you could just gradually do more every single day now i started a little bit of that last week especially because last week me and my family went to disney and we calculated how many steps we took we walked about 11 miles nice yeah so no it was it was great but my feet were dead
Starting point is 00:26:27 absolutely dead and then on top of that uh i'm going to alter ego which is fine but you're standing around a lot you're walking a good chunk and on top of that um there was a small issue i guess with the line outside of the arena like no harm no foul except for the fact that it was pouring rain outside so yeah we're waiting about 20 minutes in the rain for them to get figured out at least you didn't have a backpack full of equipment on your back going through security
Starting point is 00:26:56 check in the rain okay I'll give you that that's fair so I luckily remembered an umbrella and Tyler have you had any food rages because you've had to cut down on bread? No, I wouldn't say. What do you say a food rage? Food anger.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Do you like a snap? Do you get angry? Have you yelled at your mom? Have you thrown anything? Have you broken anything of your brothers? Anything like that? Haven't done any of that. No, I think we're good.
Starting point is 00:27:22 All right. Good. Surprisingly, I haven't really stepped on my parents yet, even though I'm back at their place, but we'll see. There's plenty of time for that. So I'm wanting to talk. I wanted to start working out. I started working out a lot before the holidays and then the holidays hit and I have not started
Starting point is 00:27:38 back up again, but now we're doing all this video. I'm like, damn, I'm fat as hell. You know, like I really, really got to get back into it so i'm right there with you tyler i'm supporting you brother so please thank you thank you sir keep it up and i'll try to keep it up as well uh i'm gonna be honest and oh this may be a reach just saying it i'm gonna try and lose at least 30 by the summer. All right. And by the end of the year, we'll see or not if I can get to it, but 50 would be great.
Starting point is 00:28:09 That'd be awesome. Hot boy summer. Yeah, bro. Hot boy summer. Dude, you'd be out there as stage coach with suns out, guns out. I don't know about stage coach, but I do have a couple.
Starting point is 00:28:22 You'll have to fend off all the milk mobbers with a stick. Yeah. You're like, oh. Yeah. Touch these pine nuts. have um i do have a couple with a stick yeah you're like uh yeah touch these i do have um i do have uh i do have a couple friends coming in from houston during the summer and they want to so the main reason they're coming out is because dodgers astros at dodger stadium i believe it's in july oh thank god they're coming on this podcast so they're they're coming out for that but they want to do like the whole disney thing and everything and i'm just thinking it would be pretty
Starting point is 00:28:50 cool if they came back and they're like holy hell dude like you lost weight so i'm like that that'd be pretty cool yeah it's awesome to have your brother with you helping you out because i remember when i was my skinniest i was unemployed and all I did was go to gym twice a day and my buddy was with me and it helped out so much to like have a cannibility buddy with you. Oh yeah. Yeah. A thousand percent. Yeah. That, that always helped me. Like whether I was in a weight training class with a couple of friends or I would go to the gym with Shasta, like anything like that really helps. But like I said, Tyler, don't get frustrated if somebody can't go and don't be frustrated if you can't go and don't be
Starting point is 00:29:25 frustrated if you're not getting the results you want it takes time there's little hills and valleys but the easiest thing you could do is just leave your house and go walk and just if no one's around just go just do it all right now eric's not here but he's the only guy that i think like that goes to like little kids birthday parties and stuff like that. That's part of the group. I mean, I celebrated my kid's birthday. We should mention they are family birthday parties, not just random childhood birthday parties. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Family parties and stuff like that. Oh, God, that would be bad. That would need flair, right? He goes to theme parties and all that stuff. Just before this podcast, breaking news, and I don't even know how this is possible because there is parties like that constantly, and I don't even know how this is possible because there is parties like that like constantly and i don't even know where people would go to get their flair but party city
Starting point is 00:30:10 claiming bankruptcy what how this actually affects me what do you mean party cities to claim bankruptcy here in burbank california there's a party city and i felt like every time i went to that one it was packed there was a ton of people in it but i did go to one in porter ranch not too long ago because i was looking for some wrapping paper yeah it was empty oh yeah that one's dead it was full of stuff but no one inside yeah that one's not good um but i feel like this is materials that people need constantly yeah but there's a walmart right next door to it that that's the problem man see that's the problem is that there's walmart target like you can and now you can't even go there for just halloween stuff because spirit halloween opens up random stores like every you know halloween so there's almost no point so is that what's happening though is it target and walmart
Starting point is 00:30:59 undercutting these people yeah i would walmart specifically like walmart has it way better on the party game like they have pinatas there they got every decoration you would want they even have party bags for little kids birthday stuff not that i looked at this stuff but you know they have toys every once in a while um but also man party city when i went to check for halloween costumes this year it was not organized properly man like it was kind of everything was everywhere there wasn't just one section they didn't have a lot it kind of looked like they had stuff held over from the last five years so nothing current but menace this is greatly upsetting me what because this is where i get my guinea pig's birthday party, dude. Oh, great. Oh, no. What are we going to do now?
Starting point is 00:31:45 Where do you think I got the bluey birthday party stuff? Jeez. Damn it. And I have a jokey. This sucks, man. It does. What am I going to do? It's terrible. Damn it. R.I.P. R.I.P. Hopefully you can make it out alive.
