And welcome to another edition of What's New Pod.
I am Menish.
I'm joined by Bort, A.K. Brett.
He's an audio expert and syndication expert with the Woody Show morning show that you can hear across the United States and around the world on the Woody Show podcast.
We are joined today.
We are blessed by many people like Tyler coming to us live from his apartment, which I always forget what city it technically is in.
Also, we're joined by a shirtless Randy.
unfortunately not on camera
but coming to us live from Downey,
California and Julianne will be
joining us later. Brett
is on a phone call right now, handling
some Woody Show business. Also
shirtless. Also shirtless.
I can at least see him, so it's going to be
Joe time later. And
I wanted to ask real
quick for everybody listening,
I'll try to get this podcast out today.
I want to ask you to come out
to Dodgers Habit home base,
myself and Bort,
He will have a shirt on.
We'll be at Habit Home Base in Echo Park today, starting at 4 p.m.
doing a bunch of giveaways like Dodgers tickets and more.
Once again, starts at 4 p.m.
is a watch party for the Dodgers at Habit Home Base on Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park.
Can't wait to see you there.
Dude, I love Habit.
It rules.
And if you can't make it, we're going to have another one on September 22nd.
So put that in your calendar.
I'm going to take out my invisible line.
Randy, why are you shirtless real quick as I do that?
It's like a bajillion degrees in my apartment.
And I've just like, I don't get it, man.
Like the AC's blowing.
We have the fans on, but it just, it doesn't stop.
The heat doesn't stop.
Like I wake up and I'm just pissed off.
I'm like, everything's annoying me.
I'm like, why is that there?
Who bought this?
And my girlfriend's quick to point out, you bought that.
I'm like, oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I bought that.
But then like it, but it all stems back to the heat, man.
It's cold shower time.
Mother effing hot.
And I get it.
Water cold?
And I get it. It's the dog days of summer.
I understand.
It's supposed to be hot.
But like this effing stinks.
And it was humid at some point too.
Oh, yeah.
Brother, get me out of here.
I have a legitimate question.
Do you have like an AC unit in the window or do you have like central AC?
I don't have central AC, which is the, which is one of the main complaints I have about this particular part of Los Angeles that I live in.
None of the apartments here come with built in.
AC. Like, I'm from the valley. In the valley, everything has built an AC or almost everything
has built an AC. So down here, all we have is a window unit. I'm like, did they just think
that it doesn't get hot here? Like, yeah, how's that a thing? It's not like Los Angeles in
Orange County suddenly just became a really hot place to live. It's always been hot, you know?
Dude, it drives me effing crazy because I'm like, who built this? What was the idea behind
this? And even now when you look at other apartments, still, they're still renting them.
out with no central AC and I'm like this is so like this is so stupid out of state builder for sure
on that apartment building yeah but how has everybody been what's been going on Tyler yeah
I've been good I'm just picturing shirtless Randy sweating up a storm trying to get rid of his cat
hilarious image going on right if I had to describe my body I would describe it as bill from
king of the hill all right so with the luscious head of hair no yeah my cat my cat doesn't
help but I'll I'll interject you off the question as well okay
I've been good, minus obviously me bitching about the heat, just working a whole lot, man.
And it's just, it is kind of crazy.
Once you start really getting active and getting busy, like how fast the day just kind of flies by.
Like, yeah, I start the day nine or ten.
Next thing I know, I'm driving home, it's 7 p.m.
And it really makes you wonder when you're sitting there and you see that, like, how late it is in the evening.
You know, dude, I got like three hours of day left.
I know.
And so lately it's been a big, it's been a big challenge.
of just sort of like juggling how it is I want to spend my last couple hours of the day.
I've been sort of gravitating more towards like going to the movies, watching shows and stuff.
Not so much like playing games like I usually do.
Yeah.
Yeah, you know, other than that, just keeping busy too.
Went to the desert a couple weeks ago.
That was a lot of fun.
Also extremely hot, but at least there they had Central A.C.
And a pool.
Travel and Randy.
Rules.
Yeah.
That's cool.
Some good, some bad.
You know how it goes.
Yeah, I've had to step it up a little bit around the house because, you know,
you know, Nacho tore her ACL.
And so, yeah. Oh, I don't know.
You haven't been on the chat, Randy?
I don't know if I shared it in the chat, but.
So wait, was it officially torn?
Yeah, it's torn.
Oh, I got to reach out to notch.
I've torn both of mine.
Oh, yeah, do it.
She would love to talk to you about it.
But, yeah, so still got about three more weeks and see where we're going to be at.
If we're going to do surgery or not.
So I've had to step it up a little bit and do a lot of stuff around the house.
And yeah, the dude.
the day flies by when you have things to do and you're like man do i have any downtime at all and
no can't stop won't stop so let me throw a curveball scenario you're having a great day or you're not
having a great day you're having like an okay day you're doing something you're enjoying yourself
yeah and then you get hit with like a very reasonable request they're like hey can you take out
the trash or hey like we need to get the dishes washed like uh-huh that is always like the absolute
worst thing, but it's also completely understandable because my girlfriend hits me. I mean, look, dude,
I, this may come off as a surprise to a lot of people, but I do wait until the absolute last
minute to do most of my kids. And so nothing is worse than when I have like, she caught me in the
day, I was taking photos of my baseball cards. I was like, all right, I'm going to take these
photos and I'm going to list them on eBay, blah, blah, blah. And it was already like two in the
afternoon, three in the afternoon. She was like, hey, are the dishes ever going to get done? Automatic
just good mood killer dude. I was like, I was like, like,
you might as well just slap me in the face and call me a loser.
But it's a completely reasonable request.
But the dishes aren't as fun as the baseball cards.
Exactly.
And if I put my baseball cards too close to dishes, they're going to get wet.
Can you guys just imagine in your head, Randy's getting caught as his girlfriend's walking in and just be like, what are you doing?
Thinking he's watching porn.
He's doing something disturbing.
It's like, nope, there is.
Yeah, taking pictures of baseball cards.
Poor Randy.
Brett, you missed the beginning of this podcast.
Randy right now is shirtless.
wetting his balls off and trying to get his cat off his desk.
Yeah, that is the hottest thing I've ever heard and I wish I was there right now.
I'm sorry.
I said.
I wish you guys are here.
Let's all take our shirts off.
Go time.
I just want to shout out real quick.
Everybody that came and met up with me in Dallas, Texas, aka Addison, Texas at Lazy Dog Restaurants.
It was so much fun.
A lot of hardcore listeners of the Woody Show and thank you for all the support for hanging out with me.
There also, the very next day I flew to.
San Francisco and I hung out in the Bay Area.
I hung out at this place.
It's been around for a very, very long time.
It's kind of near Palo Alto, Los Altos.
It's called the Alpine Inn.
If you listen to this podcast and you live in the Bay Area and you've never been to a place called the Alpine Inn, it is dope.
It's like an outside old school, like dive bar type place, but they have, you know, burgers and pizza and nonstop craft beers.
everybody that's on this podcast would love this place.
I'm looking right now.
It looks really good.
Yeah, it's dope.
And check this out.
Technology, guys.
So this place, I don't even know how long it's been around.
It seems like forever, like over 50 years plus.
Check this out.
When you sit down at your table, there's a little QR code.
And then you can just start ordering your beers and your food.
And it comes to your table within minutes.
You could also do like, oh, add to.
group tab or you can do
individual tab and then you just check
out right there and you leave. Why can't
we have this at every restaurant? I don't know.
I'm talking about. I will say
if you live over where I live
which is over by Culver City-ish
area, there is a restaurant there called
33 taps that does pictures of
margarita. They do the exact same thing.
Scan the QR code. Order
what you want from your phone. You don't have to wait for a waiter
and they'll bring it out if
they're busy within 15 minutes, which is
fine. But like yeah, and you can do
same thing. You could pay for it right there. You could add it to the group tab. It's so
nice to do it that way. See, that's the proper integration of technology. I went to a restaurant
that I will not name that did happen to serve Korean food, hot soup, which has to play in with
the story. And it's delivered to you via robot. I think you know where this is going. Yeah.
And the robot was wheeling itself over to my table and it bumped into my table and I got hot tofu soup
on me. Oh, no. Didn't get mad. Didn't get mad. I understand. I was like, look, dude, don't be
upset when you step into the arena and something happens.
Like, I get it. It comes with the territory.
I'm just saying...
Is it that to the robot?
No, I mean, it's...
Julianne.
Yeah. Please.
It's a robot. It doesn't understand.
Come on, Julian.
Don't be crazy, dude.
It's that short circuit. Come on, please.
But I, you know, I
obviously internalized it all
and was like, that's, you know, it's okay.
But so this is the right way to integrate
technology. Nice. In my opinion.
Now, I'm happy to hear you, Julian,
because I want to check in with you,
Have you been on your birthday benders for the past month?
Are you back on track?
Are you joining us on the pods?
Have you recovered?
Okay.
I'm good.
I'm good.
I was an India last weekend.
That was not for my birthday, though.
That was just because I hadn't seen my friends in a while, you know, my garage friends that I used to go live with all the time.
So that was, that was a fun weekend.
And then this weekend on Saturday, I'm leaving to go on the Kelly Country Cruise.
Oh, dear.
going on you've been talking about it for a year i just pointed this out to tyler like yesterday actually
that julian unfortunate cosmic timing the weekend she's going on the country cruise is the same
week that like the jesus of country music passed away or like the queen of country i i was thinking
that i was like oh my god everything's going to be about like dolly part now which is fine but it's
going to be like overwhelming she's going to get so many shoutouts yeah yeah she definitely is
she's officially goaded i want to go back to india real quick before
we go to the cruise. You left me a voicemail late at night and you said that you were in India.
Now, no, I think I said India and then your phone picked up me saying India. I have screenshots
saying that you were in India and then you sent me a photo again late at night of you hanging out
with a French bulldog and you had the traditional Indian sticker in between your eyes.
I don't even remember sending you that picture.
Yeah. So I believe I thought you were in India, but I guess Indial. Yeah. I'm sorry I wasn't there.
I know. I'm more sorry that your wifey couldn't make it. She was supposed to come with, but something happened so she couldn't make it.
But anyways, it was a lot of fun. Yeah. She tore her ACL. I shared it on the on the podcast.
You did. Okay. Okay. I wasn't sure. But yeah, she's all messed up.
Yeah. She's out of commission. She definitely is. And Randy, so Spicey on a show.
and I were talking and I was telling her about how you said that my cryptonite is cut
waters and you know what she was drinking that night when she hurt herself
oh my god when will the people learn so we decided that we are officially banned from
drinking cut waters oh i'm more and more people i talk to you about cut water that are now
adults like legal legit adults it's very reminiscent of like a lot of me and my friends in high
school and college with like cat like a captain Morgan and stuff you know just kind of like oh no we don't
don't touch that anymore yeah yeah we don't touch that anymore yeah but uh did you guys see that they
are coming are not they're coming but they um just came out with cut water minis no yeah they did
so i for those i wonder i wonder if it's like just a small portion same alcohol content as the
big one or if they're like packer punching the small ones i know and just making it like a one
shop kind of maybe like what a buzz ball style whatever it is keep it out of julian's hands
well my girlfriend Tiffany is like oh my gosh guys there's like a case of minis here but
there was 25 bucks and she's like I'm not going to spend 25 bucks for a case of
mini cut waters when I only really need like two or three of them so and I was all yeah
because I'm not going to help you drink those so don't even bring those things around me
because I twist my arm the key that I found when it comes to drinking the
the buzz balls I'm sorry the cut waters is get the flavors that you're not like
like super addicted to. So like the espresso martinis and stuff like that like because
then you have to sort of sip at it. You can't you're not going to chug it down because the
problem with like the margarita ones and stuff is that you feet once you start drinking them
and you're sipping them. Yeah. You're like I'm gonna pound this pound this bitch and the next thing you know you're up on the
with crack teeth with Tyler sleeping next to you. Yeah. Do you have do they have cut water
thimbles? That's what I would need because because that can
I can't I just I can't anymore Tyler I think the minis it sounds like you have the
information yeah so what it looks like is we have a cutwater mini tequila mango
it is 200 milliliters so it's really small but it still has 12.5 ALC so have a
boy oh my god yes I see no I can't I'm I'm done guys I think I'm I'm hoping to
God that they don't sell them on the cruise because I definitely won't make it to my
15 a day and I think I'll definitely be cut off
off.
Oh, yeah.
You can't put off after number four.
Are you kidding?
15.
I know.
Here's a stupid question.
Is our cut water is big within like the country scene?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They were at stage coach.
You might want to anchor yourself to the boat.
Yeah.
I'm not leaving my room, but I do have a balcony.
Oh.
I can.
You guys, so get this.
Get this.
Mom.
My girlfriend.
Seriously.
So my girlfriend,
sadly,
Sadly, she's going through a breakup right now.
And I talked to Kevin and I said, hey, on a scale from 1 to 10, how excited are you to go on this cruise?
He's like, a negative three.
Oh, what?
He's like, yeah, he's like, you know, I don't like country.
If it was like a death metal cruise, like I would be 100% in.
This would be so much fun.
But I'm not excited at all.
But, you know, I want to go because you're excited about it.
And I was like, okay, well, how would you feel if Michelle and then?
And he's like, take her.
Take her.
She can go.
You guys will have so much fun.
So guys, now I'm going with just my girlfriend and my other friends and their husbands.
Wait, your babysitter is not going to be there?
No.
So he asked me, he said, what husbands are going?
And I told him my girlfriend's husband's names.
And he goes, okay, if they're going, then yeah, I'm fine with leaving you without me.
Oh, God.
Well, have fun with that, Julian.
We'll be praying for you.
I'll light a Guiloupe candle.
Thank you, please.
Tie yourself to something.
Tie yourself to something in the boat.
I am.
For your safe return.
It's been real.
Thanks.
But I do want to bring up, speaking of drinks,
Tyler's new business that he has,
the lemonade stand.
What did you think about his performance?
I didn't fully see it.
Okay.
I just saw him standing there with a big old hat and I was like,
what is he doing?
I was at the gym.
So, and I forgot to push play after I left.
Randy,
I'm sure you watched it.
I'm kind of upset that I didn't hear about this.
I mean, I'm assuming it was hush, hush, if word didn't get out,
because I would have most definitely rolled through to harass Tyler.
Yeah.
It was actually pretty nearby Randy's mom's house.
Oh, okay.
So I'm pretty, I know that bike path anywhere.
I was like, you sly mother effort.
You're lucky I wasn't in the neighborhood.
Would you have been riding your bike on the bike paths?
No, it erode my priest and thrown a water balloon there.
Yeah, no, by design, we didn't say where it was going to be or put it out publicly.
That's fair.
Yeah.
I think you should do more of these.
I think it would be more fun.
It's sort of like a new take on like a man on the street style stuff, but just sent
Tyler to random places to sell stuff to people.
Do stuff.
That would be fun.
I think that would be fun.
It would be fun to see them outside of music festival.
Yeah.
Selling like drinks, but like, you know, just funny, weird, funky stuff and seeing his reaction.
Because Tyler, there was a moment where I could tell you were a little scared.
when you got pressed, you got potentially
gangbanged on. I will say
well, hold on, please don't
say gangbagn. I do not want that happening.
But yeah, I was
slightly nervous. I was up, like, what do you ask
me specifically? He's like, how did you feel on a scale of 1 to 10?
I said, I felt about a 4 because you're
like, okay, you're trying to fit, you're slightly
intimidated, you're trying to figure out what's going
on, but it was only a 4
and my reasoning for that was because, dude,
I worked in retail for 8 years.
I've seen everything short of a robbery.
So I'm like, okay, this guy, you know, he's
trying to intimidate me, whatever.
It's a force.
I was just like, all right, it's fine.
When he came back and stopped in the middle of the street and got out of his car,
it shot off to a seven because immediately I'm like, oh, this dude has a gun.
Like I was starting to like a low key freak out.
No, no, for sure.
No, dude, because like he got up.
When he came back, I'll be like, oh, damn, he's actually serious, you know?
And like, it wasn't, I was thinking like, oh, this dude's not going to do anything.
But then he stepped out of the car and I was like, oh, crap for a second.
It's on.
But like I said, it was at like a seven.
If I would have saw a gun, it would have went to a 10.
But then I saw the eggs and then I was like, okay, this is going down to like a four.
Like this is coming back down to.
So like, I just stood there and I'm like, you know, whatever.
Were you closer to the North Hollywood side or like the Burbank side?
We were closer to the Burbank side.
Nice.
Yeah.
So go watch that video.
If you missed it at the Woody Show on Instagram, we send out Tyler to sell lemonade.
And then there was a big reveal.
I won't give it away if you haven't watched it just yet.
but do you know what's hilarious
Randy this morning
when Woody went to recap it again to tell
people to go watch the video he goes
we sent out Randy to go sell
lemonade
that's freaking awesome
yeah and I said
And then I was like
well you know we sent out Tyler
he's oh yeah yeah I goes I can't believe I said that
I go well if Randy still worked here we definitely would have sent Randy
you're still thought about you're still loved
Tyler you're you're not Randy 2.0
yeah
lucky guy
I'm the iPhone
I'm the iPhone 6 or the iPhone 10, buddy
congrats. Oh, get the hell on it.
Oh, damn. Real quick, though,
speaking of Randy, Randy News,
did you see new theme park
coming to Paris, $7 billion
investment from Saudi Arabia
to build a Dragon Ball Z theme park
coming at you? Are you here for it?
Will you go?
I mean, who would say no to a Dragon Ball Z amusement park?
That sounds effing sick.
Plus, brothers.
Saudi...
Julianne, you got to have an open mind.
I have an open mind towards Dollywood.
We were talking about Dollywood the other day.
Like, I haven't never, I've listened to like maybe half of a Dolly Parton song.
Dolly Parton, but still.
If Julianne, that's a difference.
I'm just saying, Dolly Parton is huge in America.
Yes.
Dragon Balls E is bigger than Dolly Parton worldwide.
I won't disagree with that.
Yeah, whatever you say.
Somebody give their input here, please.
No, like I said, I won't deny that.
That, uh, yeah, Dragon Ball Z.
around the world is absolutely massive.
Yes, what the children?
No, no.
What do you think?
The children turn into adults at some point.
Jules, I'm gonna be real through.
I think the only thing I don't like about it
is that they put it in Paris.
If they would have put this thing in Mexico City,
that thing would have sold out tickets
in like the first day.
You'd never be able to get in.
I wonder why they put it in Paris though.
Is there a reason why?
Maybe because Saudi Arabia is closer to Paris.
Yeah, maybe. I don't know.
You know what's weird to me?
is like people like are constantly bashing on Disney adults but how much you want to make a bet
all these people bashing on Disney adults are people like you guys who get excited over like dragon
ballsy a hundred percent everybody has a thing yeah everybody has something to get excited about
i'll be quiet i was waiting in the drive-thru for godzilla toys out of mother ethnic
McDonald's i haven't that's why i keep my mouth he has no shame guys i have no shame you saw
the cast a new photo i sent there i sent the the the the the the the the
show here in the group chat a photo
of my kids meal when they when I received it
and looked at the way they grabbed the food and chucked it
into the box I love how you're saying
you're just saying Godzilla it's Godzilla what
Sanrio
no Godzilla what
Hello kitty whatever dear
There it is
Arena box right here
We have one in the studio
It says hello kitty and friends Godzilla
Hello kitty and friends Godzilla
Whatever dude
I get it I've been to hello kitty land in Japan
I forgot you've done that.
I'm not knocking you, dude.
I just, you do bring up a good point, though.
I do find a rather interesting how, like, a lot of people
all over Disney adults.
Don't you're wrong.
There are certainly, I suppose, tears of terms of cringiness or whatever.
But, like, at the same time, everybody gets excited about something.
And if you don't get excited about something, I'm more worried about that.
Yeah, you're lame.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
You're boring.
Yeah.
All right.
Speaking of theme parks, is the Universal Fast and Furious Coast are open officially yet or
know or did it get like pushed back?
Because I see people posting it, but I think is that still like the testing?
Because there was all that drama about the nearby Toluca Lake, California, if you don't know.
They're mad because it was making a bunch of new noise.
If you don't know Toluca Lake, Toluca Lake is on the other side of Universal and in between
that is a gigantic golf course.
Now the golf course obviously has no buildings to block any.
sound so they're hearing all these screams from the new coaster into Toluca Lake and they started
complaining so they complained so much that it pushed back the opening but i don't know if it's
officially open now or what but universal said that they were going to make some adjustments
to lucalakians sometimes are some of the reasons why there's so many different things in burbank
because they've complained so much like if you go to downtown burbank or just Burbank near the studio actually
if you'll notice there's only one building that's tall amongst all the buildings and
And that's because to Luculacians took it upon themselves to complain about how they did not want tall buildings in around the area.
Yeah.
So if there's something fun and they're in that vicinity, they'll be the first thing complain about it.
I'm surprised they haven't shut down Bob's Big Boy for some stupid reason.
I know.
Too much traffic.
Yeah, so dumb.
All right.
You guys want some food news?
Yes, please.
Food news.
All right.
So check this out.
On Tuesday, September 22nd, the long-awaited Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is set to
open and will debut Skywalker Grill, a full-service restaurant specializing in classic American
cuisine. The menu will highlight dishes from California. Also, they'll have crab cakes, lobster
corn dogs, crispy chicken, honey miso glazed salmon, and signature Skywalker Ranch Wagyu
burgers. Are you here for it? Are you signed up? You know, that was a lot. I don't know. But yes, I am.
I'm here for all of it.
And they will have solids, but who cares about that?
I'm going to be honest.
It sounded kind of average.
Ooh.
And then wait, wait, hold on.
Hold on.
Let me finish.
Let me finish.
You sounded.
It sounded kind of average.
And then I believe you said lobster corn dog and I was sold.
Oh, yeah.
That's what I need.
Dude.
I love lobster.
Oh, I love it.
Oh, I made a bomby lobster pasta the other day.
Where's it up?
Yots.
Oh, my God.
It's in my stomach.
Damn.
It was so bomb.
So much garlic too.
Dude, back in the, Tyler, I don't know if you remember this,
but back, like, when I started with the show,
they had this, like, a partnership with, like, a lobster fest.
Oh, yeah.
So we would go down to, like, Long Beach or something.
No, no.
San Pedro.
San Pedro, yes.
And just, like, brother, unlimited lobster.
It was lit.
Okay, so why are we not still doing that?
Like, honest question, why is that not stuff?
Unfortunately, I ate all the lobster, so there's none less.
I damn you.
I think San Pedro.
was actually doing like a big investment in the area.
Actually, funny enough, they just reopened that area, the pierrier.
Oh, yeah.
Renovated, El-Gle-Gle-Gle-Gener.
Renovation.
Cheese, Louise.
Yeah.
So it's probably coming back.
That's why it wasn't there because they were doing those renovations.
So we'll see what's up.
All right.
Did you see this one that pop up in your feed?
KFC chicken sandwich with an Oreo bun.
I saw photos of that.
I didn't believe it at first.
It is real.
little crazy.
But it's in China.
So you're going to have to go to China.
Ben,
Benz, can I share a funny, embarrassing story of KFC the other week that I did?
All right.
So unbeknownst, well, KFC's been doing a lot of these cool, like, food collaboration
jobs, but all of them are outside of America.
Always.
I do not know.
And I did not know.
And so my feet had been bombarded with videos of people getting Moshhta from KFC.
And so I was like,
like you know what everyone's been crap on me for like saying macha's not good and literally everyone on
my tic-tok feet is talking about how good machda is yeah unfortunately i don't like much either yeah
all the videos i was watching were in mute because had i not had them in mute i would have realized
that everyone in those videos had a british accent so when i went to the kfc in downy california
and was like hey can i get the machta she was like what i was like the moshta the mosh that you
guys have. I don't see on the menu. Can I get the, can I please get one order of matchta?
And she was like, we don't serve much to. And then I was like, and so Gio looked it up and she
realized it was only in the UK and I felt like the biggest idiot in the whole world because I asked like
four times. Where's the matchda at a KFC drive-thro. Where's it at? Yo. But KFC needs to wake up.
Do you drop some of this stuff in America? What the hell? They have the craziest stuff overseas and never
in America. It's just like basic stuff. All right. How about this? I think we have talked about this
before because it has been around since
24. But
here's the
question. Why haven't we done a food
challenge with it when it comes to Tyler?
Did you see
and it popped up again in my feed because
they're questioning if it's going to be back or not
at
Soldiersfield in Chicago
the two pound
bear claw? Oh wow.
It's like the donut?
Yeah, two pounds. Tyler
where are you at with this one?
child's play. Do you think you can do that two pounds even when you're on the jab?
That feels a little light. On the job? Yeah. I feel okay first off I love I love that reference.
That's really yeah. The jab is great. I've never heard that before. I'm on the jab.
Like I was on the jab when we went to that uh that A's spring training game in Vegas and I had that foot long hot dog and I wolfed it down in like three minutes dude and I was on the
the jab like yeah dude you can outpower the jab but there's sometimes you just got to do things
for the love of the game man this is two pounds true look it up as as a former fat as a former
fat man being that being Tyler uh that's nothing bro it's two pounds that's nothing son
you're talking about the guy who's done the nine nine nine twice for the yeah but that was
pre jab you weren't jabbing dude no no the second time i had just started jabbing like it had already
start to take it out. You never forget it.
It's like Odysseus with that bow in the Odyssey,
man. It's just like you get that. You
plug it, bro. You're back in, man.
You're back at it. He can put two pounds
of bear claw in front of that man. I see if he can't go through it.
I don't think he can do it, man. I'll
tell you what. Dude, to prove it,
I'll go to in and out right after this and
Wolf down two four by fours.
Hold on. Hold on. Oh my God. I need to see
you replicate this. Further
yet, if we can't get to a
bear's game for you to do this, I think we just
finds a donut maker in Los Angeles.
There's a bajillion of them. Oh, hell yeah.
And to make us a two pound bear claw and see if you can do it.
All right. Good show content. I'll put money on this. I'll put money on this for Tyler.
All right. And dude, are you still jabbing, Tyler? Are you cheating right now?
So I am slightly cheating, but it's for a good reason.
Cheat because one and no, let me explain.
Because I lost the health insurance when Fandul let us go.
Those shots are about $1,200 right now.
So I'm waiting until my state
Insurance kicks in
To which should bring it back to a much more
manageable level and then we will go from there
Okay go through someone's dealer
Like I feel like everyone these days have
You know what? It's so
Yeah
It's so funny because someone brought up the fact like
Oh there's a store over by my parents' house
Like oh there's a store over in that area
That sells
I guess pretty much like the same thing
Yeah for like 60 bucks
And I'm like
Yeah I'm like I'm
tempted, but at the same time, I'm like, that's probably not a good idea.
Yeah.
But I did see, it's like, you know, my phone knows me so well because of the damn speaker on the
inside of it, you know, the FBI man that just chills in there.
But I did see an ad on my Instagram.
Charles Barkley, I guess, is doing something with GLP ones that I guess are more a little
off brand.
And I'm like, maybe he wouldn't.
Yeah, I'm like, he wouldn't sign on to do something if it was, you know, wild.
So I'm like, yeah, I'd probably check that out.
No, there's like legit places that have legit compounds, you know, like, you
know, I was promoting one for a while called Lassara.
And it's basically the same compound as like Zepbound, which I was taking.
It's just Zepbound is just a name brand.
Terseptide is what you want to take if you ask your doctor and get it approved.
But I wouldn't just be taking this if you don't see a doctor or talk to a doctor on what you should get.
But you're talking about like, you know, some random liquor store does happen to have a compound somewhere.
Like you don't want to take that at all.
You want to get it from a legit place.
I'm surprised you just saw those ads teller.
I can't escape the like the row commercials with Charles Barkley, Serena Williams, like all of those.
They're everywhere.
I had seen it a bunch of times before, but I didn't really need it because I was getting health insurance through my other job.
So now I need it and I'm like, oh, I guess I should look into this.
So we're not going to do the two pound challenge until you're on the jab again because.
That's fine.
Yeah, because you have the appetite when you're off the jab.
So yeah, it makes sense.
Yeah, so all right.
Right now you're a McGuire on the steroids.
We need for you to get on.
Oh, my God.
All right.
Tyler, I can take you to Mexico.
We can go to Mexico.
Yeah.
Oh, hey, do you want me to try to see if I can get you any?
I mean, we're going in to Mexico on Monday.
Yeah.
Make sure it's from a reputable place.
Like, Walmart.
It's all reverable.
I don't know how to.
Walmart and Encinada.
Like, I don't know.
That's kind of far.
And I got to make it better.
I'll tell you what, Jules, my people will talk with your people.
We'll figure it out.
Yeah, make sure it just a reputable place.
Now, there was an announcement just before we started recording.
September 9th, the iPhone announcement and the Apple announcements are going to be coming down.
Now, I want to get your call right now.
If they announced the foldable iPhone, hit or flop, what do you think?
I think it's a flop.
Yeah, I think it's going to flop.
I would like one.
I would like to get one at some point.
You would?
I don't think it's going to catch on.
I have no interest in getting the foldable phone for some reason.
I don't know why.
It's just the novelty of it, I think.
But doesn't Android have one already?
Yeah, Android has them.
Yeah.
But, you know, you probably want to go iPhone.
But Julianne, would you go foldable phone?
I mean, you have kids.
It's basically like having like a little iPad.
So I'm sure they would be interested.
But they don't get to touch my phone.
Okay.
Is it like flip phone style or is it like a book style?
Because I feel like Android has those book style.
No, then no. No.
Yeah.
No.
I would go back like retro style like the flip phone, but not like the book.
I think that's dumb.
And then you have this big crease in the middle of your phone.
Yeah.
Why aren't your kids on your phone, Julian?
What's up on there?
None of them.
They don't get to play with it.
They have a coloring book and crayons.
I don't know.
I've seen some stuff on there.
They might not want to.
Hey, they see that in real life.
You care.
Oh, okay.
They don't need the digital copy.
Yeah, they don't need that.
They get the real thing.
They're like boopies, boobies.
All right.
Okay.
So everybody says flop.
And I agree.
I just don't see it popping off because you know the price point is going to be crazy on that.
But we'll find out what they announced on September 9th.
All right.
I have a question for, I'm so happy that you're here, Randy and Tyler together because I did put it in the group chat.
Did you secure?
or my Lisa tops baseball cards from Black Pink.
Yes or no?
I did not.
And that's because they were a bazillion dollars.
Okay, break down the money on it because I didn't even see.
Well, Tyler, didn't you send over it?
It was like 500 bucks for a box or something?
Yeah, I did look up some stuff.
It wasn't, you know, honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
I did see a couple boxes for 150.
Okay, wait.
What was the initial retail price?
I think the initial retail price, like on the top's website, was for like a buck 50, like 150 bucks.
But the problem is, is that they sold out pretty much instantly because everybody has all these bots lined up to take them all anyway.
So they sold out pretty much instantly.
And now they're being resold for like 500 on eBay.
Yeah, I overslept a drop today for the Team Samurai Japan cards.
And they're now like four times the cost on eBay.
So I snoozed and I lose.
So no lease a card for me.
But I'll be in the last.
I think I'll be like out. I think Tyler probably has better odds of being able to secure you a box.
He has more connections than I do. But the tricky part is though,
and I mean, we're bringing you back into the world of cards.
If you want an autograph, you want like a relic or something,
you got to pay the extra premium because if you,
you might end up spending all your money on the lower boxes and get skunked because that's happened to us many of times.
Weak. All right. So what is the hot card to get right now?
What's the hottest?
The hottest right now.
What's the Holy Grail that people are looking for?
Holy Grail? I mean, it's already been found, right, Tyler?
Was it the Cooper flag patch or was it the Fernando Mendoza?
Is there anything else dropping soon?
There's basketball, tennis. They're dropping tennis on September 1st.
Basketball, Sapphire, baseball, Bowman football, which is going to be the really big one.
Because Topps this year finally got the NFL license.
And Bowman is a big, big staple of their baseball releases.
So to see that for the first time in a long time of football is going to really cool.
cool. And then baseball, baseball again. But on the 8th of September, there's a fun little drop to
2026 tops Mars attacks Christmas. Oh, I did see something about that. Yeah. Yeah, I don't really know
what's going to be in there. They sometimes do like fun little random drops. Like for a while,
they were doing a lot of those like garbage pill kids. Yeah. And those are pretty cool. But so it should
be interesting to see what this looks like when it drops. Now, Julianne, has this hit your household yet?
No. No. What's popping with the kids that they want?
Um, nothing.
Felicity's just completely into bands right now.
As you know,
Katzai.
And then actually my four-year-old,
she's into Godzilla.
So,
but like watching the movies,
but none of the,
like,
cards or anything like that.
And remember when Felicity was into
Pokemon cards?
Mm-hmm.
It's not anymore.
I have a bunch of,
like, folders with it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's in her room.
Wow.
I don't know if they're worth anything.
Tyler and Randy want them.
Just talk.
All right.
The problem with that, though, now is that now I get like a lot of
like older people who contact me because they hear from my mom or something.
I'm like, oh, rang me this cards.
Are my cards worth anything?
Yeah.
I need you to.
I don't get my number.
Give an analysis.
All right.
You know what I think that happened?
They made the kids stop bringing them to school because they were trading.
And.
Oh, lame.
Why?
That's a more epic point.
Yeah.
You know what happened, Julian.
I'll tell you.
what happened. I'll let you know right now what happened.
Somebody got got got. Yeah, some kid got
some dad looked at his kid's binder.
He's like, where's the Charzard?
And he's like, oh, well, I traded
for this, you know,
this, uh, squirtle.
The squirrelals. Yeah. So, and he
called to school and he was like,
someone stole for my kid. And that's
why they can't trade you. Probably. Yeah.
Or a teacher got something.
Um, I, uh, definitely want to get some,
I definitely want to get the Lisa cards and I want to get some
F1 cards. My thing is I'm going to buy F2 cards, the rookies, and then hopefully, you know,
somebody pops off because I've been seeing people come up big time on that. So I think that's
the play with me. Real quick, though, I'm going to freely talk about F1 because, you know what?
When I just met up with listeners, every single time now, people bring up F1 to me. So I guess I'm
not annoying people with my F1 talk. So this is what I'm going to say. The last, you're annoying.
The last race freaking lit.
Yuki back in the building.
There was all this drama because one of,
because the Red Bull driver Hadjar hurt himself over the summer break.
So they had to bump up Larson from the Racing Bulls team to the Red Bull team.
And it was,
it was such a fun weekend.
Unfortunately, Max Verzappen crash his car in the first lap.
So that sucks.
Say that name again.
Max Verzappen?
No, no, no.
Say it the way you first said it.
Oh, Max Furzappen.
There you can.
That was nice.
No, I was just saying it weird.
He doesn't really say it like that.
But the reason I'm bringing up Max is Tyler put this on my radar and then it just exploded
everywhere that Max for Sappin is going to be doing this awesome race at Silverstone in the UK.
Could you explain it, Tyler?
Yeah.
So this race is pretty sick.
So Red Bull put this whole thing together.
It's a go-kart race.
They're calling it Max versus 100.
And Max for Stopping.
This dude is going to start from the back of the pack.
he's going to race 100 people
try to pass them all
all the other drivers they're going to be
Red Bull endorsers, celebrities,
content creators and
a couple fans and this whole thing is airing
on Disney Plus on September
60. Live!
It rules. Yes,
live. This thing is going to rule, man. That's going to be
I think the official name is Max First
100 or something like that. Max verse 100.
Yeah, so look that up. It's going to be
on Disney Plus and ESPN.
That's going to be super fun.
All right.
Brett and I, we got to wrap up.
We are going to be going to Habit at 4 p.m. today.
Echo Park.
Yeah, Doug.
Habit home base is going to rule,

Julianne, do you have anything to say before
we leave. Yeah, I forgot to tell you guys
the last Saturday when
I sang the picture of the Frenchie.
Yes. Well,
I maybe have had one too
many cocktails and I was trying to get everybody
on the dance for to dance with me because it was
dead and I went to a bar and ran
Cucumanga, California
called HKs and there's
like a stage and the DJ's like,
hey ladies, there was like three
girls, women up on the stage, including
myself. You're not allowed up on the stage
unless you're naked. Nice.
You don't tell drunk Julianne that because here I am.
And I like, I'm like, okay, I can fix that.
I take my hands out of my top and I didn't have a bra on under my white body suit that my sister lent me.
And I like pulled my top halfway down, not all the way down.
And I did it twice that night and the second time I got caught and the security guard sure to kick me out.
But he let me say after I said, sorry a million times.
Wow.
Oh, my God.
So somebody has photos out there.
No, no, no, no.
I was facing the wall.
I made sure I wasn't facing the crowd.
I was like, no one saw anything.
And plus, I only did it halfway.
Yeah.
I was facing the wall.
God, and the DJ said to do it.
That's why you just kicks you out.
This is what happens when you follow directions.
I know.
I know.
Blame the DJ, biach.
Anyways, that was it.
I forget to tell you that story.
He said it was mandatory.
He did.
And I did it.
Pure Julianna right there.
All right, Randy, do you have anything?
to say before we leave?
No, it's kind of hard to top that.
Stay cool.
All right, cool.
Randy's still topless.
We can't beat it.
Speaking of topless, I'm also topless.
All right, Tyler.
Filling in for Eric one more time, just 14 days less season.
Damn.
Hope you come back.
Rip.
All right.
Brett, do you have anything to say before we leave?
Yes.
Firstly, shout out to our boy, Eric.
He has been under the weather.
I will let him tell that story when he gets back,
but well wishes to Eric.
We are thinking of you and we miss you.
Secondly, just a note to everybody.
Whatever you enjoy in life, whatever makes you happy, just enjoy your life, be happy.
Go do the things you want to do.
Be around the things you want to be.
And if anyone complains about that or gives you crap, well, they're probably miserable and they hate their lives anyway.
So you still win.
Yeah, you stay winning.
I always think of that.
Live life, be naked.
Yeah.
I always think about that line from, was it, House Party 2 with Bernie Mac.
He's like if people don't like, people don't like you ever.
I just repeat that in my head a thousand times.
Do it.
Do it.
F off off a cliff.
All right.
If you can't hang out with us today, don't forget Brett and I will be back at Habit Burger on September 22nd, doing another watch party, giving away more tickets for the Dodgers.
But don't miss out on today.
Come on.
And we'll see you next week.
Go Braves.
Oh, wait.
One last thing.
R.P.
Tim Curry.
So sad.
Oh, yeah.
Yes, of course.
What's new?
What's new with medice.
