What's new, what's new with Menace? What's up everybody and welcome to another edition of What's New Pod. I am Menace, I'm joined by Bort, a.k.a. Brett. He's an audio expert and syndication expert with the Woody Show Morning Show that you can hear across the United States and around the world on AFN. We are joined by our friends Eric and Randy. They're coming to us live from Downey, California. Also, we have our good friend Tyler, who's coming to us live from Downey, California. Also, we have our good friend, Tyler, who's coming to us from Whittier, California.

What's up? How we doing? Before we get started on the podcast, let's just get down to business real quick. Coming up this upcoming Friday, October 6th, it's going down. Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, the big birthday bash. Mega giveaways edition is happening. The money booth is back. We have Woody Show merch.

We have big screen televisions, 75-inch joints to give away. We have not like actual joints, but televisions that are 75 inches. We have Nintendo Switches. We have Xboxes. We have e-scooters we have gift cards what and so much more to give away all you need to do is show up between 8 p.m and 11 p.m walk on in we'll give you a raffle ticket and we might call you up on stage to either pick a prize or to get into that money booth and try to grab as much cash as you can. Oh, yeah, and my birthday. All that other stuff's fun, too. Yeah, and DJ Scotty Fox and all kinds of stuff. So it's going to be a good time. The whole Woody Show crew is going to be there. Eric, you're going to be there. Randy's going to be there. Brett's going to be there.

Tyler's going to be there. It's going to be a good time. But before all that, guys, before we have the big birthday bash October 6th, Brett and I, last minute, we're going to be at the grand opening of the Raising Canes in Artesia on October 3rd, which is a Tuesday, I believe, right? Yes, that is correct. Tuesday, we're going to be there from 3 to 5 p.m.

doing a bunch of giveaways as usual usual theme park tickets, what a show merch concerts and more maybe I'll swing by maybe I'll swing by 3 to 5 you said? 3 to 5pm, Artesia, grand opening it is at 18600 Gridley Road

maybe I'll swing by that's my off day stop by what a wonderful pre-reunion to morongo obi delightful now you always get turnt up eric at these parties is correct yeah i i've been known to toss a few back at these things my thing is like usually because i go to these things it's like i have a little more access to like some liquor and usually when i drink liquor it's like i have the whole like well i drink fewer and i get you know a little more access to like some liquor. And usually when I drink liquor, it's like I have the whole like, well, I drink fewer and I get, you know, a little more slushy.

And you know what the problem is? You know what the problem is? I guess it's not a problem. The thing with these things is we're left to our own devices. So like we're free to pour our own. And it's like, all right, well, here's like three quarters of a cup of vodka and half a can of Red Bull. Now, Tyler. Yes.

Are you ready to party? I actually am. I'm really looking forward to this. Just so you have, I guess, a wherewithal of where I am. I've already asked for the day off of work. It's been approved. I also asked for the next day off because, one, I know I'm going to get really drunk that night, and two, I do actually have another party to go to on Saturday night.

Wow. So that's another whole other thing. Are you going to have the swagger? Are you going to pull some ladies at this party? We'll see. I will not make any promises. But as far as the swagger goes. The ladies will.

If this is a question as if I'm going to bring the chain or not oh you best believe it's coming it's coming out oh i thought he had the ball and chain for a second i was like okay and then i thought wallet chain but then i'm like oh wait the necklace yeah the swag now tyler is saying we'll see when it comes to ladies that are there but as we've been a witness to is tyler gonna bring a lady or so with him to morongo and not tell us no is is trust me fly solo on this one no i i can guarantee you that's not

gonna happen because me and Randy are carpooling, so I don't want to spread that out. Alright. The only thing that I'm tripping off is the ride home. We're not driving, but we have we've rented a car to drive us home and it's just that drive home and having to go to the bathroom

is the only thing I'm worried about. You know, man, that's something that's what I've become really aware of as an adult adult um and it's not even because i'm like pre-gaming things anymore drinking really it's like coffees and water you know even at work but i was always that person like pre-gaming parties and i'd be like in a party bus from the back seat going to a dodger game back seat going to a festival and it's like i was always the guy it's like bro you need to pull over and i've i've peed on plenty of the side of freeways like yeah dude the 110 freeway going okay side sidebar story going to the first alter ego 110 freeway traffic hour like 2 3 p.m and i peed and there's

like it's like bumper to bumper traffic i'm just standing on the side of the 110 p and like i had to go dude it's like i was gonna pee my pee my pants. It's always been a problem for me, dude. No, I feel you, dude. I always have to go pee like every place that we go to. I'm always looking for the bathroom. But here's another thing. There was a Woody Show party. It was Cinco de Mayo.

And we had to take like an hour plus ride to go to this event. Yeah. And we were pre-gaming the whole time. And I swear we were probably like five blocks away. I still couldn't hold it. I'm like, you guys got to let me out. And I got out of the car and I ran down the alley and peed in public. Broad daylight.

Now, Eric, did you see? I made it in to our dream. The Winfield Club at Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders versus Steelers game. Dude, I did. Didn't Devontae Adams catch a football or catch a touchdown pass right in front of you? Yes. Dude, that was dope.

Like the only touchdown he scored that game. Yeah. So, lucky you. It was super fun. And, I mean, you know the vibes. It is just like a straight-up nightclub. Diplo was there. Mike Tyson was there. And it's just like a straight up nightclub uh diblo was there mike tyson was there and it's just like top shelf amazing food and i was just thinking like it's not that expensive

compared to like sofi stadium like mid-level tickets are just as much to get into the win field club and not only that we saw you on tv so they're kicking the field goal. And I, I'm not gonna lie. I happened to look away because I was at work when this field goal went through or whatever. Right. So I looked away for a second and I missed it. But right on cue, Randy sends everybody a picture. It's like, oh, hey, we found you. And I'm like, oh yeah, that's menace.

That's for sure. Right there. So yeah, dude, you were on national TV. Congratulations. I mean, now I say it's not bad. I mean, it's around five to seven 50. So it right there. So yeah, dude, you're on national TV. Congratulations. I mean, now I say it's not bad. I mean, it's around five to seven 50, so it is expensive, but for everything you get and you're at field level and there's celebrities with you, that's actually not a bad price. I mean, like, do you know how much you're going to be paying?

If you go to a Vegas club and you get VIP bottle service, you're going to be paying about the same amount. Okay. So you might as well. Yeah. You might as well go to a game, have a blast. You're going to be on the field level. You're going to be on TV like Venice was.

So I mean, just go and have fun. The goalpost was pretty awesome. Yeah. I'm not even going to lie. It's a pretty cool view. Yeah. And when we say field level, I mean, like there is a little fence and the field is on the other side. Yeah.

The players are like coming up and giving everybody high fives. It wasn't even like a fence fence. It was almost like wrestling, like the little barriers between you and the wrestling ring. It was very cool looking. Carrie Underwood was there, Tyler. Oh, nice. Oh, God.

She's a baby. Guys, look. If I had the chain on, not only could I go 10 rounds with Mike Tyson, I could totally, totally catch her, man. Little Wayne was there. I would be honest. I would go five rounds with Mike Tyson, and I would at least introduce myself to Carrie. I wouldn't try anything.

I would at least go over and say hi. Yeah, man, it was fun. Ten concussions later five from mike five from carrie now oh eric are you all in are all out on taylor swift and travis kelsey oh my god so i mean i'm i'm i'm definitely i really don't care but i know the i know the um the amount of eyes that comes with taylor swift there's it's all we've talked about i mean not all we've talked about but it's everywhere and i know there. Not all we've talked about, but it's everywhere. And I know there's people out there that are pissed off about it.

Oh, talk football, talk football. But it's like, you got to understand the mecca that is Taylor Swift now. It's like Travis Kelsey's jersey sales are up 400%. I mean, he's not a no-name. He's not a no-name. He already had a following. And I think think i forget the number but the face value for it because the jets are playing the chiefs in new york on sunday night

football this week already kind of a big game standalone game but the jets are going through some stuff so zach wilson's qb aaron rogers isn't there so people are kind of like oh this game's gonna suck now so not exactly you know it's not exactly gonna drive eyeballs or ticket sales but now it's rumored that taylor swift is going to be there oh now everybody's buying tickets so yeah dude like there's been like a crazy hiking ticket there's going to be dude it's probably going to it's it's going to it's going to set some records oh yeah um viewership on sunday oh yeah people are going to tune in like crazy i'm full on supporter love is back baby okay i am full in on this i think it's cool because number one you're getting i mean I mean, not that the NFL needed it,

but now they're getting a ton more exposure. And number two, you introduce a whole new set of people to the game of football. Especially ladies that you're into, right, Tyler? Yeah. That's what I'm saying, bro. I was going to kind of hit it that, but now you just threw it out there. Now I'm cool with that. So I'm actually really cool for it. Like even all all that stuff aside i think it's a fun story it's

something that literally everybody in every media outlet with the exception maybe the political ones can actually get involved in like this is it's so funny that this is national news and here's the other thing too i saw a video when she left the suite before she left she made sure to go back to her spot get all her trash and dump it you're doing that in front of the parents veteran move right yeah okay this thing is real 100 and uh of course most of the people on the woody show are not fans of it so um just to mess with them there was just a tmz article right now it says taylor swift and britney mahomes really hit it off sunday night at travis kelsey's private post-game party and i just texted to all of them just to say hey keeping you guys in the loop like it's fun okay it's harmless

fun like what's the worst that could happen. Okay. Take away shine from the game guys. I know. God, who cares? Anyways, point is it doesn't matter what happens, whether they break up, whether they get married, that next Taylor album is going to be absolute fire. Okay. Like the pen. She's going to do this set of blades. She's going to take the anthem away from Carrie Underwood. Oh, okay.

That's interesting, number one. But number two, I already have the title of the next album if they break up. So in football, when you're drawing a play, you use little X's and O's to describe the offensive defense, right? Name of the album, X's and O's with E-X-E-S spelled out. Done. Done. Done. Call me. Call me, people.

All right, you guys. You want some food news? Oh, yeah. Yes. How about this? Are you all in or all out? KFC tests the new smashed potato bowl. It has french fries, mashed potatoes, cheese, and bacon.

All in. All in. Way in. Oh, it sounds so good. I want it. I need it. I'm probably all in. I'll be honest. Because you guys know this.

I'm not the biggest fan of KFC. They're okay. Oh, yeah. It's true. But mashed potatoes. It's a mashed potato bowl. And with fries mashed in. This sounds like it's up my alley.

Double potato. I'll probably go with it. Exactly. I'll go with it. I was just thinking of how I can remove all the things that I don't eat from that just so I can have it. I'm like, okay, remove the bacon. Okay, what kind of gravy?

Maybe I can get my own somewhere. I'd be down if I could modify. All right. How about this? McDonald's has introduced two new dipping sauces. We're talking about McDonald's Sweet and Spicy Jam. It's a red pepper sauce that packs Szechuan peppercorn and cayenne pepper punch. All in or all out?

In. The other sauce is the Mambo sauce, I believe. It is a tomato-based sweet, spicy, and vinegary flavor. Vinegary? Did I say that right? Yeah, that's right. Vinegary? Vinegary flavor?

I would say it that way. Yeah. Yeah, I'd say it about the same way. That one, I'm going to be honest, it sounds okay. It doesn't sound as good as the jam, but I'd still probably try it. You know what, though? I do like vinegar with fries. I don't know about adding vinegary to the species.

Well, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Now, let's discuss this for a second, because if you're going to have British-style chips, you're going to go to a pub where they give you vinegar with it, vinegar and chips, and you get ketchup with it, pretty much. Sounds kind of delicious to me. All right.

I'm willing to try it. I'm not a big fan of salt and vinegar chips, though. So I'll probably pass on this one. All right. The one thing you don't like. Jesus. How about this one? Jack in the Box debuts the Red Hot Angry Monster Taco.

Did you see this? Meta, aka Facebook, had a huge AI debut. They're doing all the AI photos, and they're allowing you to edit your photos using AI, which is amazing. But they also had this AI announcement with the Ray-Ban glasses. Now, they already had Ray-Ban glasses before, but now they're next leveling it where you can take HD video with it it you can stream with them

nice you can also use it as pretty much like an alexa okay where you go hey meta and you ask it a question and the answer will pop up in your lens of your ray-. Okay. It's not far off from being connected to all your personal devices, so you just be driving with it down the road, tell them to do something, and then it does it for you. I'm going to be honest, and this is where I'm going to sound old. I don't care.

I'm out. You can just talk out loud and it will tell you the answer right in your eye, dude. Cool. You know what else does that? Siri. And you know what Siri doesn't do?

Blind me in my glasses while I'm probably driving. Why are you asking while you're driving? That's a user error. Okay, that's my point. That's going to happen. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Someone's going to do that. I'm getting them. You're not.

Look, we need a picture in a picture inside glasses, okay? But Tyler, think of what you could do with this. Actually, all you guys, think of what you could do with this is you're watching the game. Yeah. And you need stats on a player. And it targets it. Hey, blah, blah, blah.

Because it has an AI search engine, it'll be able to scan the face and just give it to you right away. Yeah. Tyler?

Nah, I'm still out. Yeah, Tyler's saying this when one day, I forget what he was bringing to my house, and I was like, what? And he came over and i heard just loud loud a loud video being played beneath me and it was tyler rolling up of course i go down and this dude is watching youtube videos while he's driving i swear to god i'm like dude i'm like i'm like first of all why are you playing that so loud in my like little four car five car parking area and driving through and it wasn't even music it wasn't a podcast he was watching yeet videos with his little hand

his little hands-free device attached to his little like ac unit now eric are you excited for this toy story game that's gonna be happening on disney plus yeah it's it's a cool i mean i wouldn't say i'm excited but it's a cool concept i watched this um they they did something similar for a hockey game one of the outdoor hockey games with the i think it was the capitals i forget who else was playing and it was pretty cool same kind of concept live action or live live compared to the game so it was live feed of it all the the the graphics and like the it looks like this one's gonna be done better like the the cartoon characters I guess you could call them because the other one was more of just like

Avatar like like yeah like movement tracking and stuff this one looks a little more like high-tech Yeah, the problem the problem with the game is you know it's it's in it's a London game So I get what they're trying to do get more eyes on the game because they're overseas and on the west coast It's gonna be like a 630 kickoff little little tough for me to get up and watch it i don't even know if i'll be up to watch it in general i'm gonna watch the heck out of it yeah i mean i'll be i'll be you know laying laying on my couch watching now i'll flip over to it a couple times i don't know if i'll watch more like the game there but i'm sure there'll be some pretty cool clips of it the animations i remember when they would score on the hockey game the animations were cool they

got fireworks and stuff like that and like it was oh it was a big city greens one it was a big city greens one for the hockey game nice um so i'm assuming disney's gonna go all out with you know their cgi and their anime animations and stuff and you know they they're really pushing this the kid movement you know they have those nick yeah the nick telecast. They need younger fans. Yeah. Okay. I want to be honest. I know last week I kind of downed on it. I've been kind of getting slightly hyped for it. Yes. It's weird. Okay.

So if this was any other game, I think I would be more hyped for it. But because it's a Falcons game that they're doing this for, I'm going to be stressfully watching this. Like I'm probably going to yell at toys. You're going to need two TVs. So I think we're going to, I think what I'm going to do is we're going to load one game on the TV, probably the normal broadcast. And then I'll have the toy story one on my laptop. Oh, badass. Right. It's versus the Jags. Hell yeah. Yeah. It's versus the Jaguars. Like I'm kind of getting into it. I will admit it looks,

it looks kind of cool. This is great. I'm not even joking how much I really, I might watch football. Yes. I do not watch. I don't remember the last time I watched anything football, like maybe a UCLA game when I was in middle school.

I will watch it for this. This is pretty damn cool looking. Yeah. Yeah. It's just, it's just happens to be the Falcons game. So like I said, I will be stressfully watching it.

I might yell at Woody and buzz or something on my screen, but Oh, well, you know, Disney, Disney doesn't, doesn't, you know,

well, that in the, doesn't get one up by people too often. So I'm sure this will be dope. Yeah. I feel like the NFL, at least with kids or just like sports in general you know these kids grew up on youtube and fortnight and stuff like that so they might not be into sports like they didn't get influenced by their parents

so probably this is a new way to influence kids to at least check out the sport rebuild their fan base because they're probably looking at their target demos right now and going okay we're not seeing much of this and then back when i was a kid you would have all these sports athletes showing up on nickelodeon television showing up on fox kids and they would even interweb like i think football games and baseball games with fox kids cartoons you know like they would have little breaks and stuff so yeah this is probably the only way that they're thinking we can grab them yeah but then they're probably thinking like, man, okay, we can either spend all this time trying to do real-time CGI game and Toy Story,

or we can just figure out how much it would cost to pay Taylor Swift to go to each game. Right. You know, which one? Toy Story is cheaper. It's probably cheaper, yeah. What's more influential? Just bring back wild and crazy kids, and that'll get kids back into sports and stuff. Easy.
