I'm Metis. I'm joined by Bort aka Brett.
He's an audio expert and syndication expert with the Woody Show morning show that you can hear across the United States and around the world on AFN.
We are joined by our friends Eric and Randy who are coming to us live from Downey, California.
And just over yonder in Whittier, California, is our buddy Tyler, a.k.a. Heavy T.
And our lovely friend, Julianne, who is joining us from Covina, California.
And just before we get started, I just want to give a quick shout out to a couple business things that we're doing.
Myself and Bort are going to be in Whittier September 24th from 2 to 4 p.m. at California Fish Grill.
Tyler, are you just finding out about this?
I am.
This is the first time I'm hearing about it.
We're coming to your hood September 24th from 2 to 4 p.m.
And of course, we're going to have theme park tickets, concert tickets,
Woody's Show merch, and more.
And then don't forget on Saturday, October 26th is my birthday gathering.

again, Hyena Horror Market happening in North Hollywood at the Mayflower Club from 10 to 3 p.m.

All the info at St. Bort on Instagram.
Now, sorry, we didn't have a podcast last week. We're all on vacation. But when I was texting last night, I said, hey, can everybody make it for the recording on the pod today? Everyone said
yes. But Julianne responded, said yes, but I will be hung over. Now, I had no idea why she would be
hung over. So what happened? And thank you for joining us today on the podcast, Julianne.
Of course, of course.
It took a lot of effort, but I am here.
I went out and saw one of my most favorite bands that I grew up listening to called Messed
at the Observatory in Santa Ana.
And I got to finally meet the lead singer, Tony Lovato.
After 20 years of wanting to meet this man, I finally
got a chance to meet him. I met his wife, his sister-in-law, his brother, his kids. Like it
was awesome. We had the best time. I went with one of my best friends, Michelle. And yeah, we just
got toe up and listened to some emo music and it was amazing. And it was, it was a good time. It's
always a good time when I go see them. So by the way, the observatory, they really stepped it up and cleaned it up.
It is very nice inside.
There's like an open bar kind of lounge area out to the back patio now.
It's definitely stepped up.
Didn't we do a Woody show thing there?
We did.
Yeah.
I knew it.
Was it with Cage the Elephant?
Oh, she took over a couple years ago.
Yeah.
Who played?
Them and AJR.
Yeah, I had walked in there and I was like, I could have sworn we did something here with the
Woody show.
And yeah, you're right.
That's what it was.
It's funny because I found the shirt the other day.
I was going through some of my old stuff and I have a lot of old OG Woody show shirts.
Sorry, I'm laughing.
Are you laughing for the same reason?
Yeah, because we're still giving away those shirts.
Yes.
Oh, nice.
Oh, really? I still giving away those shirts. Yes. Oh, nice. Oh, really?
I still have all mine, too.
Yeah, we find them in storage because the storage is on the bottom floor of the radio station, and it's massive.
And some stuff just kind of gets hidden behind boxes, and we rediscover them.
And they're like, we'll take these.
Yeah, the last two meetups Menace and I have done.
So maybe at California Fish Grill, maybe we'll have a couple of these.
Yeah, some vintage ones.
But the last two we've done, we've gone through and we're like, alter ego.
Hold on.
My favorite shirts that you guys are always giving away, the Fiesta ones with the pinata.
We do guys do like events.
I'm like, oh, wow, there's still more of these.
Yeah.
Well, because they're yellow.
And, you know, we prefer well because they're yellow and you know we
we prefer black because they're slimming we we bad randy for wearing that right dude never wear
that again we worry about a guy is comfortable huh yeah my favorite one's the gray one the gray
one is super soft and thin oh it's my favorite sleeping shirt so we just did a huge order of
new woody show merch and i'm not going to give it away,
but there's one new shirt that I'm so excited to put out on the streets.
So be ready for that.
Well, you better kick us down with some.
That's all I got to say.
I got you.
Again, we didn't have a podcast last week, but Bort, you did meet up with the fellas,
or at least you met up with Tyler, and you guys had a little Costco adventure together that I would love to recap because we got some photos out of it. We posted it. Oh yeah. At what's new
pod on Instagram. And you said, I would really like to talk about this adventure that I had
with Tyler and how Tyler is a different person when he's at Costco. Yeah. So it was a, it was
a special adventure. I was hoping to see all three amigos.
I did get two of the three of the trifecta there.
I was able to meet Eric's son.
Oh, nice. So shout out to Eric's son.
And I was able to see him and Leanne for a bit,
so that was great.
Randy disappeared on me.
He had to go to work last minute.
But so Tyler at first was like,
oh, I can meet you at Eric's house.
I'll meet you there, you know, and we'll just hang out.
I'm like, well, I don't want to invite somebody over to Eric's house.
Yeah.
You know, I don't know if the baby's asleep.
The baby was asleep, like me, so that was kind of great.
But I was like, I don't want to just impose and have Tyler.
I don't know what will happen to him.
Me and Tyler did an adventure over to the Lakewood Mall.
He saw a lot of anime girl with miniskirt figures.
He couldn't keep his hands off of them.
Nope, not true.
So the main thing was to go to Costco.
And guys, I couldn't maintain to memory or composure everything he was saying.
He was going in and being like, and here we have a plethora of deodorants that you can get at such a reasonable price.
And look at that giant box of Disney products just waiting up there ready for us to buy all of it.
And it just kept going.
But then he had tag lights for everything.
Everything.
Now, Tyler, we are already 15 minutes into the podcast.
Feel free to defend yourself at any time.
No, no.
I'm just letting him go.
He's like, nope, all is true.
I'm just letting him go.
But it is all true because one thing that we did see, there was a two-basket air fryer.
Oh, my God.
And one of the baskets could fit in a
whole rotisserie chicken for 50
bucks. You can't beat prices.
We did post a photo of that
and a lot of people reacted and they said
yes, that is a legit
buy on that one right there. I did get
a sample of the salmon burger.
They're pretty bomb.
He was a Disney cast character the entire
time. Well, you guys at least enjoyed yourself.
Did you stop by the cafe?
Let's be honest.
What kind of questions?
Of course.
Of course.
Yes.
Costco has a cafe?
Well, no, the food court.
The food court.
Yes.
Oh, okay, okay.
I was trying to be fancy.
Of course.
Oh, my bad.
And not only that, I also treated Tyler to food at the food courts.
Wow.
I got him a glizzy.
Yeah.
How many glizzies for the glizzy king?
Just one glizzy.
Whoa, were you sick that day?
No, no, it's fine.
Well, first off, you know me.
I'm trying to watch the amount I eat, not necessarily what I eat.
I mean, real quick, also on vacation, I just want to shout out our friends at Disney.
They got me into the Disney 5K run.
And that was so much fun.
So if you want to get if you want to be part of that, go just Google run Disney and I'll give you all the details.
But it was just like just really over the top.
And it was the Halloween themed Disney run.
So people don't really do it for time.
You just get to run through the entire park and they have all the characters out so you
can stop and take a break and take a photo with them.
And I saw a lot of Woody Show listeners.
So shout out to all the people on that one.
But the most disconcerting thing that happened over the break is R.I.P.
Pizza Mania, guys.
Now, Tyler, you were the last one to get us into pizza mania so i feel that
you should speak on this because pizza mania people don't know in whittier for over 50 years
you have a lot of memories there didn't you date like a lot of ex-co-workers that
that weren't there or something i definitely did not i don't know where that's coming from
why would you not maybe i misremember that i don't know where that's coming from why would you
not maybe i misremembered that i thought you were doing that for the pizza hookup or something i
don't know a sibling perhaps yeah it was honestly it was kind of sad because it really is a staple
like me and my brothers used to go there all the time especially when we played like sports because
that's where you'd have like pizza parties or whatever the more the day went on the more i realized how many people actually really cared about this place i did just a quick search on
twitter because i was curious and like a bunch of people were talking about it all my brother's
friends were talking about my other brother showed up to work at disney and people were asking him
like his thoughts about it somehow the guys i work with found out about it yeah dude it was weird man
but like i guess it was like that
well known so it is really sad i think it makes it worse than it was arson so that was uh yeah
that whole thing is kind of crazy and uh i just happened to have a video of tyler inside pizza
mania that i posted on my instagram story with sad music and people were like oh my god this is
the saddest instagram story you've ever done.
So many people reached out either saying,
I'm so depressed that it's gone.
I went there forever.
Or so many people were saying,
I always wanted to go there.
Yeah.
And now I can't.
I had to really put a lot of text into that video too,
because I didn't want people to think
that it was Tyler that died.
Thank you for the clarification.
Tyler went down
eating his last
pizza slice.
At least he died doing what he loved.
Eating pizza slices.
In other news, today
we had an earthquake.
A good one. Almost
a 5.0 in
California. It was based out
of Malibu.
We felt it here at the radio station we were on the air and the the radio station was rocking for quite a while anybody
else feel it nope i was up pumping and i didn't feel anything nothing i was up too i had the baby
leanne was napping and i heard her phone go off an alarm went off the earthquake expected and she
felt it i didn't feel it when i was standing with the kid their parents they don't pay attention to those things anymore we have other things to worry about
is our kid breathing i thought the bed was moving but i also thought i was maybe i was like tripping
or something like it was a big truck driving by or whatever but uh the earthquake woke me up so
nice little jolt to start the morning no i definitely woke me up i was laying down and
my eyes were half awake and i'm like like, I think my bed is moving.
Shaking.
And I look over at the dog because the dog sleeps on the floor right next to my bed.
And she has her head up and she's looking around like, what the hell is happening?
You guys are much younger than I am.
Did you go through the L.A. earthquake in the 90s?
I mean, how old were you?
Were you alive?
Anybody alive? alive yeah i think
i might have been alive but too young way too young so it's funny because my dad brought that
up this morning he said i remember when we had the north earth earthquake in 94 he said i woke up
your mom woke up we're freaking out we went into your room i would have been like one and a half
it's like we went into your room and you were dead asleep bouncing up and down on the bed sounds about right that was nine so i remember it really well we i was so scared we i
think i was crying at the time it was just everything was just shaking it was crazy how
bad that one hit and i've never felt an earthquake like that since so going to cal state northridge
they have the rubble still on campus and like oh yeah like plaques around it like there used to be a building here and now it's just like wires and stuff into like a hill yeah i i was living in north hollywood
at the time so we saw multiple houses like any house that had a chimney the side of the house
was gone different apartment buildings were sunken the old shermon oaks galleria got a crack in it
and started falling apart that's why there's uh an open air one now. But it was, it was a very intense, crazy, like my school was jacked up. My dad was
working overnight at a grocery store in the back room and literally stuff started flying.
That'd be the worst place to be.
Pallet started flying. Oh dude, he ran out of there as fast as he could.
So I lived through the 89 earthquake and they call it the world series earthquake.
And that was slightly bigger
than the LA one. Yeah. And yeah, total devastation. But what was kind of random is when you guys had
the LA quake years later, one of my best friends in high school, his dad was part of CHP and in LA,
they also like in the San Francisco Bay, had a lot of overpasses.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
The structures fell.
Oh, my gosh.
One of the CHP officers in Los Angeles died.
Oh, yeah.
On one of those structures because it fell.
And that was one of my buddy's dad's friends.
So, yeah, it's kind of.
And that's an infamous story, too.
Like everybody in L.A. knew about that CHP officer.
Yeah. kind of that's an infamous story too like everybody in LA knew about that CHP officer yeah so and it
was weird being in a room this morning with a lot of people that didn't grow up with earthquakes
you know so how scared were they they were like because it was rolling for a long time so everyone's
like should we be worried and we're live on the air and I go go, ah, no, guys, that's like a five right there. Yeah. You know, relax.
Because like Sammy, who grew up in Boston and then later moved to California, do we
go under the table?
Like, what's happening?
You know, under the table.
She just said yeah and then laughed at her.
Yeah.
You're supposed to go in a doorway now, aren't you?
Like, they no longer tell people to get under a table?
No, the doorway has been massively debunked.
You're supposed to be under a table. Oh, okay been massively debunked you're supposed to be
under a table yeah oh okay i thought it was because the door can slam on you yeah anyways
that was fun to go through hopefully it relieves some pressure so we don't have a big one or maybe
it's just leading up to a big one either way be prepared get your rations together because when
the big one does hit it will be devastation you'll be without food and water
for a long time so i actually just started recently doing this keeping some at least some
water in my car oh yeah i usually get like gallons at a time and keep a few people always talk about
like you live in california you have earthquakes it's like yeah one little baby roll like once a
year like relax guys you guys have tornadoes and i think hurricanes are way
worse they hit you every year yeah have a season of hurricanes like that's ridiculous
we're talking about massive devastation you're dealing with water and the ground being messed
up yeah and i know this is not the same but australia has some big old spiders and I ain't try to live over there earthquake or spiders I'll take an earthquake and we don't we don't get
heavy snow you hear about people who die with snow related stuff all the time
Texas nearly froze over like oh yeah remember when a couple years ago Tyler
was there yeah tornadoes you we do got damn libs, bro.
Those damn libs, brother.
All right.
We got fires,
but if California's not on fire half the time,
then is it really California?
Yeah.
Now, was there an earthquake the other day
at Dodger Stadium?
Where was all the people?
Was it because of football?
It looked pretty dead.
If you look at the dodgers coverage there was
like no one in the stands what's up with all the heat wave it was like the hottest reported game
in dodger stadium history dodgers fans could be crazed right but they ain't that crazy i mean dude
the dodgers put posted a like a free water coupon on their twitter like that's yeah yeah when was
the last time the team had to do that or even did that or give away something for free yeah
something for free for real you know it's basically bobblehead night but it's water bottle now
a lot of people were a lot of people were talking about they should push the game later but i forgot
if that was the sunday game which if that was the case that's yeah that's impossible it's sunday
night football okay because yeah i didn't make that connection because you know me i'm always
hanging out 115 degree heat or more so it it would seem fine to me i thought it was the whole
football thing was the reason why people weren't there but heat does make sense you know i mean
the football certainly didn't help it's like do i go to dodger stadium when it's 106 or stay in
my air-conditioned home and watch football those games will roast you man i've been there when it's
a nice day out and you're just baking in the sun let alone on a 105 degree weather day yeah even
us in oakland look
how that turned out for tyler he was red red melted to the seat so the sunburn i had from
oakland lasted about a week and like you needed the sun i needed the sun but like the sunburn
lasted a week and then just you know your skin starts to peel and it's nasty. I posted a picture of my leg or my thigh and Tyler's thigh next to each other.
And so many people are like, oh, my God, that guy needs the sun so bad.
It was like pure white.
But football's back.
We're excited for it.
Chargers got a win over the Raiders.
That was pretty fun.
Russell Wilson didn't start.
That was crazy.
And the Jets lost, as I expected.
This upcoming weekend, though, is iHeartRadio Music Festival,
which I am also super excited for.
Like, a really, really good lineup this year.
We have Doja Cat.
We have Camila Cabello.
Shaboosie. We uh some country artists paramore
you know a little band called paramore a good time but it reminded me it felt like i don't know
so long ago that all of us here on the podcast were at the iheart radio festival together
it feels like i don't know maybe 10 years ago now that we went to that. And it's so funny because in the group chat, you guys posted, I don't know who did it,
but posted a photo of when we did a live podcast in downtown LA at the Conger Room.
And Eric looks 12.
Oh, yeah.
That was me.
I've been fighting old memories.
That was probably, what, seven years ago now?
Wow. That was actually Eric's first seven years ago now? Wow.
That was actually Eric's first Woody's show party.
Really?
I was pretty fresh out the womb there, too, because that was a November event, and I started there in August, maybe?
December event.
So you started, yeah.
No, no, no.
You started after my wedding.
So November.
So November to, you were there literally a month. That was also the same
party that Tyler got roasted on
stage because he was about to join the show
and Tyler drunkenly started
walking towards the stage.
You had to stop him.
That's the party I would have
let him in the VIP because he was so
drunk.
No way.
If I remember correctly,
that is the Christmas party of 2018.
So we're coming up on six years?
Yeah, I wasn't asking about the date.
I was just saying that you were too drunk.
Oh, well, I'm just trying to go that last little bit.
But yeah, man, and it sucks because like,
yeah, we all don't get to see each other on a daily basis.
And I would love to be at the iHeart Festival with all you guys once again.
But just so happens the month after in October, we will be together once again in Las Vegas for a live recording of What's New Pod.
So, you know, dreams do come true.
Yes, they do.
And you're a dream maker, Menace.
Yeah.
So I still got to find us a place to stay, though.
I'm working on it.
I believe in you.
Fremont Street.
Fremont Street.
Yeah.
I mean, there is Circa.
I would love to stay at Circa.
I'm talking to somebody.
Maybe we'll stay there.
Tyler and I will volunteer to stay at one of the seedy hotels in Old Vegas.
Oh, my God.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Let's not include me in that please remember just got your text please let me take the lead
now this is a dream come true because menace remember when we uh trolled tyler and we found
like some weird ass motel online and said that's where he was staying yeah yeah we googled mapped
it we're like what's the worst looking one? And we found one that had
bums and crackheads all around it on
Google Maps.
I remember you guys
sent me that and I remember telling myself,
I'm just staying there to sleep.
I'm just staying there to sleep.
That could be fun
though. I've never actually stayed
in old Vegas and I feel like
being by yourself would be difficult.
You don't need to. You don't need to.
But Tyler and myself, for research purposes.
You don't need to come home with bed bugs.
You go visit it for the day, and then you go back to your nice bed on the strip.
Not to be more nostalgia, but the second to last time we were in Vegas all together was when we went to Stadium Swim.
Yes.
Right?
Love that place.
That was the day that Randy had
never been in old Vegas before.
So Eric came up with the idea of, hey, Randy,
walk into this old
casino and we'll meet you on the other
end. Go to the back wall,
go in that door, come out at the other side, we'll meet you
at the other end. And they still have quarters coming out of
machines. It's still all smoking.
And he came out with just this dazed, confused
look. I'm like like that was Vegas. Yeah
Sick cigarettes. Yeah, that was that was also the time that Tyler was like decked out in a bunch of like chains. Yeah
Pictures with ladies and his mom got mad. Oh, yeah. Oh, that was so funny. I do remember that so like
One of the pictures you guys took of me i had uh two ladies of the street i
guess you could say two ladies on the street i had i had one on each side and i posted it to
instagram jokingly and i immediately within five minutes i got a text from my mom what the hell is
that yeah she's like i'm watching, I thought you went to work.
It was so funny.
I am working.
Yeah, this is working.
This is looking at ladies.
Not my good Christian boy.
So, Tyler, you've yet to respond.
We're trying to hang out with you today because we're doing a special screening,
a secret screening of a movie that's coming out later this month for Transformers 1
and you've yet to respond if you're going to come
hang out with Borden and I. We're going to be doing
it in Glendale. Are you blowing us off or what?
What's up? No, I could have
sworn I responded to that.
I cannot make it. I do have something
family related to do later tonight
but that's my bad. I could have sworn I responded
to that. Okay. Wow.
But yeah, Transformers 1, it is is an animated movie 2d and it looks super funny you got to look at the trailer
it looks like you know it's a little bit like comedy it has a little comedy side to it oh yeah
and uh yeah check look up transformers one that's gonna be coming out later this month
in theater and only in the in september 20th only in theaters check it out you know what
i did watch though is beetlejuice beetlejuice did anybody else watch it yet oh no how was it
it was fun i had a screening at sinopolis now sinopolis a luxury movie theater so much fun
going to sinopolis they have bottomless popcorn by the way so when you go there
just enjoy the entire movie and um now i'll say this i enjoyed beetlejuice beetlejuice off the
hook no was it terrible no i give it about a six i think they just had too many storylines going on
if they would have just stuck with like the main storyline it would have been awesome but they try
to fit like four or five different ones within the movie there's just too much going on because the main story was really
really good if you go see it you're not gonna have a bad time you're not gonna be like oh i
wasted my time so go check out beetlejuice beetlejuice also check out our friends at
sinopolis and enjoy a movie there but you guys want some food news oh yeah food news chain fest la is coming
october 5th and on my instagram at menace m-e-n-a-c-e i'll be giving away some passes
to chain fest myself and board we interviewed the main chef behind chain fest and his name is
timothy hollandsworth and he worked at a super famous restaurant called the French Laundry, one of the most hard-to-get-into restaurants in the entire country.
Very prestigious, but now he's doing all these fast food matchups that are quite delicious.
And I know you can probably still get tickets if you're listening to this podcast right now.
Check out eatatchain.com if you want to hang out with me at chain fest and also hit up
my instagram at menace m-e-n-a-c-e to have an opportunity to maybe get free tickets to get to
that festival now check this out now i have a question port tyler or anybody that's been to
costco recently have you seen the new item that costco put on their food court, the chicken bacon sandwich.
I have not.
I don't think we saw that when we were there.
Not there yet.
It's getting good reviews,
so check that out.
Another food item being released by
California Pizza Kitchen, it is
Mike's Hot Honey
Chicken and Dill Pickle Pizza.
All in or all out?
You had me until you said dill pickle.
Yeah, me too.
I'm sure you can get without pickles.
Yeah, dill pickle sounds fun.
I had some crazy pickle concoctions at the OC Fair,
and you know what?
Didn't mind it, so I would try this.
All right, you're in.
Eric, are you in?
Yeah, I'm all in on dill pickle or anything.
Oh, yeah.
Dude, dill pickle.
They're doing dill everything. I on dill pickle. Anything. Oh, yeah. Dude, dill pickle. Like, they're doing dill everything.
I saw dill pickle mustard the other day.
Dill pickle cashews.
Dill pickle lays are so good.
Yeah.
Mmm.
I have not tried those.
Also, I have required the new Oreo and Coke Zero and the new Oreo Coke Cookies that I'll be picking up later today.
I'm super excited.
And I'll give you my review later.
Well, they've been sold out everywhere.
Oh, my God.
I haven't been able to try it.
You've been waiting for these for months.
They better be there when I go try to pick them up.
I'm excited.
Also, another big thing thing shout out to our friends
at lazy dog restaurants they brought by the tv dinners the other day for national tv dinner day
and got rave reviews in the studio so once again if you go to lazy dog pick up some tv dinners just
go to lazydogrestaurants.com to pre-order if you want to or just take some on the way out after you
hang out at lazy
dog um i have a question for everybody in the room yes when it comes to alcohol i don't really
see any alcohol in the news lately but like the biggest alcohol news that i've probably seen just
recently would probably be the hulk hogan beer that was out i haven't is it says anything popped
up in your timeline or anything that you're into alcohol-wise?
What are you guys drinking lately?
For me, it's usually just the 805s for beers.
And then, I mean, I do love like a good vodka Red Bull, a good margarita.
But one thing I have been on a kick, I love Brewery X over there in Anaheim.
I do.
Their Huckleberry Seltzer. Oh my lord in heaven, that thing is so good.
Nice.
I still need to go there.
Yeah, I have been seeing those guys at all the Brew Ha Ha events.
You will catch me at that booth if they are there.
I might work that booth, actually.
They're so good.
Quick side tangent for two seconds.
I passed by your friends at Rad Beer Menace When I was driving through Anaheim
And other people from Brew Ha Ha
I really wanted to stop in but I'm like you know what
I'm going to be at the Boo Ha Ha and I'm going to try their beer there
I'm looking on the website right now
Theboohaha.com
Rad Beer will be there
Brewery X
They're there I see them
They do that Mighty Ducks beer
Or I mean not Mighty Ducks beer
I know which one you're talking about.
That one's good.
They do a beer called Halo Light.
That's for the Angels.
That one's not bad.
But the Huckleberry is where it's at.
And I just remembered they have two more seltzers.
One of them tastes pretty close to a cactus cooler.
And the other one is pretty damn close to a Baja Blast.
Those things are so good.
Are we going dressed up?
I haven't been putting in some thought on a costume.
I did get my Sweet Hooters costume from E-Menace.
Oh, yes.
Nice.
Yeah.
I really want to be a wizard this year, but not like a wrestling wizard.
Oh, my God.
Randy's embracing his full Diedebo.
Yes. I saw someone dressed as a what was it
Like wearing a cloak on
TikTok and I was like yo that looks pretty sick
And then I was like I would love to look like Gandalf
Or just like a wizard
All the time
Halloween is the only time that seems acceptable in today's society
And what kind of wand are you going to use
First of all they don't have wands oh they don't jerk they have staffs they have staffs
it's not a wand guys please don't try to explain to me what wizards have and don't have wands you're
thinking of harry potter dude i'm talking about i'm talking about legit i'm not doing this right
now okay the guy from uh the sword of the stone the sword of the stone he has a
thank you that's a disney version okay they have a staff and has a crystal ball orb on it okay we
all know about the cool wizards guys yeah obviously cool wizards you losers harry potter
he had like a stupid owl and he did like lame ass crap.
Gandalf was fighting against like some big ass creatures.
Oh my God.
This is way different.
Look, we're in a way different conversation right now if we want to talk about wands versus stats.
I'd rather not.
Randy.
Oh my God.
Hey, we were talking about beer, obviously, and alcohol.
Yes, of course.
Anyways, I'd like to dress like a wizard, so I'm the one dressing up.
All right. Yeah, I mean, it's a Halloweenemed party, so everyone's going to be dressed up.
So anyone that's going, that's coming to Madison's birthday party, they're coming to the Boo Ha Ha Fest.
If you're asking if you should come dressed up, you can come dressed up if you want.
Go to the website.
Make sure you follow the rules.
But yeah, come dressed up.
Why not?
Again, not mandatory.
You don't have to do it.
No, unless you want to be a cool wizard.
Yeah.
For real.
I support this.
I support David all his wizarding, okay?
Wizard out.
But yeah.
I love your staff.
Menace, I haven't seen too much drink-wise, but it's Oktoberfest season.
So Oktoberfest, Halloween beer, pumpkin beer.
We'll toss this to Eric.
Pumpkin beer is everywhere, man.
Are you in or out?
It's the season, man.
I'm in. You're in? Have you found everywhere man. Are you in or out? It's the season man. I'm in.
Have you found any brands yet that you like?
No, not yet.
Sam Adams does like a
Sam Adams usually
does like a fall release with a bunch of like different
flavors. Which they have at Costco
and I already got it guys.
We did see it there.
The Pumpko or
Jacko. The Jacko beer by Sam Adams.
Amazing.
It tastes like a pumpkin pie in a can.
It's so good. Sweet.
If you guys want to have a good time
again October 26
theboohaha.com
I got some
meta Ray-Bans
and they're so much fun.
Did you?
Yes.
I've been curious about those.
Yeah.
Okay, so if you don't know, Ray-Ban, obviously, legendary brand. They hooked up with Facebook, aka Meta, and they now have glasses with cameras in them that you can record HD video up to three minutes.
They have speakers in them so you can take calls or listen to music.
They also have AI in them. So that's why I brought them onto the show today because I'm like, oh,
dude, I can ask like literally any question. I go, hey, what's the stock price on Tesla today?
Give me the answer. I go, hey, Meta, where is the HQ for Dunkin' Donuts? It says Massachusetts. How fast is the speed of sound?
Boom.
Answer right there, right in my glasses.
I'm so excited about this.
Nice.
So yeah, check it out.
If you're by a store, check out the Meta glasses.
All right, guys.
Well, it is time to wrap this up.
Wait, hold on.
I got one thing to say.
All right.
It had to do with food news.
It's not food, but it's at mcdonald's
did you guys hear you probably already know but they have a crock keychain that they're going to
be giving out yeah in the kids meals yeah so suck on that crocs we up baby menace will be buying
thousands of kids meals to get all the croc charms and and speaking of Crocs, I did see some high heel Crocs that I might get.
But they don't look like the Mickey Mouse shoes
that you guys all have.
I don't know if you know this as well.
We're all big Crocs fans here, except for Julianne.
Did you see last year that Crocs,
they bought like this other shoe company
for almost, I don't know, I think a billion dollars,
$2 billion or something like that. They're called the Hey Dudes hey dudes now eric i think they're kind of your vibe dude they're
they're slip-ons they look like something that you would wear at a beach and they have like so
many different collabs as well like maybe like a slip-on van maybe would be like almost the
equivalent to it but i'm loving my hey dudes as. You see who's an endorser of the Hey Dudes,
our girl, Cindy Sweeney.
So we're all in, my friend.
Wasn't there a show on Nickelodeon
when we were younger, Menace, called Hey Dude?
Yes, there was.
Oh, okay.
Is it like a spinoff of that?
No, no, no, no relation.
Oh, okay, okay.
No relation.
But next time you're by a shoe store,
check out the Hey Dudes
and see if you're feeling them or not.
And they're affordable as well.

I'm over the heat.
I'm done.
I'm done with it.
All right, Randy, anything to say before we leave?
Hello, I'm Randy.
Nice to meet you.
I'm American.
I'm 28 years old.
Nice.
Yes!
That is way better than anything CBass has said.
Dude, let me tell you, I am in hell most of this class.
I'm like, what the hell is going on?
And then eventually it kind of just clicks and you sort of like catch a groove and you're
like, okay.
And then the next day comes and you're like, crap, what did I learn?
So I've been doing a lot of studying and it's kind of nuts because the classes and the class I'm taking I'm taking with people
Who are actually currently in college and I'm like, you know, how are you taking other classes and doing this?
So far so far kind of so good I still got a lot to learn so this is what did you say I said
Okay, so I said konnichiwa, which is like the formal way of saying hello.
But if like, because we're all friends,
I could have just been like, Ohio.
It's like, Ohio, Watashi wa Randy desu.
Like, hello, my name is Randy.
It's Yoroshiku Onegai shimasu.
It's nice to meet you.
American Gaijin desu is like, I'm an American.
Niju Hasai desu, I'm 28 years old.
So like, whoa, nice.
You had gene at the end of like a country
and that signifies like you're from there.
So like, if I was like, I'm Salvadorian, it'd be like, El Salvador de Des.
And it's weird because there's no I'm this.
It's just Des.
But Des also means a bunch of things.
So if I'm eating sushi, they're like, what are you eating?
I'm like, sushi Des.
But it's the same thing as saying, I'm Randy.
Randy Des.
All right.
Nice.
That's cool.
I love it. It's a lot going on. Mind-blowing. I'm so proud Randy Des. All right. Nice. That's cool. I love it.
It's a lot going on. Mind-blowing. I'm so proud
of you right now. Dude, there's like three different
kinds of like, yeah, I gotta learn
hiragana, which is
46 basic characters, then katakana,
which is the same thing, but they use different symbols
for different things.
But they mean the same. Wow.
That's crazy, because I barely even know the
English language.
Six years of doing this and Randy's finally falling through with something like yesterday or the other day for instance um where eric's leaving work and he's like you're not leaving like i have japanese
class so i have to stay at work and like pick the zoom call nice in a pod that's great that's cool
but i'm having it's cool i'm having a good time. Awesome. Uh, okay.
Julianne, do you have anything to say before we leave?
Yeah.
Follow that up, Julianne.
Yeah.
I know.
I can't.
I can't.
Konnichiwa.
That's all I got.
Okay.
So, um, I actually should have shouted this out, uh, two weeks ago, but I completely forgot.
But if you guys are over in the San Dimas, Glendora, Laverne area,
you have to hit up this place called the Guacamole King. Amazing. Their guac was just phenomenal. I,
I'm going to go actually go back this weekend and grab some more, but yeah, so their place is
called the Guacamole King and they are located at 402 Arrow Highway in Suite 10 in San Dimas.
And yeah, you seriously have to go try it.
And Menace, I know you always come past La Verne and San Dimas on your way out to your other place.
So if you ever get a chance,
you got to stop by and grab some too.
So I highly suggest them.
Tyler, start your Japanese now.
No, I got nothing.
I don't know how to follow that up.
Pizzamania's gone.
The Falcon's lost.
My life is in ruins.
Continue.
All right, Brett, do you have anything to say before we leave?
We should have just ended it on Tyler.
That was super good.
Shout out to Ashley, who was at the Costco in Lakewood and said hi to us.
Listener to the Woody Show on What's New Pod.
Actually, we met her at Raising Cane's.
Sweet. Yeah, very good. She, Menace, we met her at Raising Cane's. Sweet.
