Starting point is 00:00:00 What's going on? What's new podcast listeners? All right, here is a special edition episode of me talking about my favorite passion other than Tyler F1. I'm dropping the interview here just in case you missed it. And if you're not into F1, I suggest you still listen to it. It's with Brian and Matt of the Red Flag's podcast. And if you don't know the Red Flag's podcast, it is my favorite podcast about F1. And they have a book coming out called Formula 101. You can pre-order it right now on Amazon.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Or better yet, go to their Instagram. page by searching the Red Flag's pod because I want you to do me a favor. If you go to their Instagram page, please comment and say that I loved your interview with menace because this has never happened to me before. But at the very end of the interview, Matt asks if we were recording. So if you drop a comment, then he knows that you heard it. Anyways, let's get into it. This is Brian and Matt of the Red Flag's podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Where are you? Oh, you're in Phoenix? No, I'm in Burbank. Burbank. Oh, you're in California. Yeah, yeah. Nice. Yeah. He's just over the hill. Yeah. My favorite airport in the whole world.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Dude, the best. And then they're going to get a new one on October 18th. The new one opens up. A new Burbank airport? Yeah. They've been building a new one on the other side of the of the, sorry, I've been up since 3 a.m., so this is going to be kind of rough for you guys. But the, yeah, where they land, basically the runway. On the other side of the runway, they built a whole. new Burbank Airport and opens October 18th. I like how shitty it is.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Yeah. It feels like there's a train station. Yeah. It feels like you just. Yeah. So easy to get in and get out. But they say it's going to be pretty much the same, though. It's going to be pretty easy.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Good. As long as it keeps its rundown vibe, that's all that matters. I mean, the baggage carousel is like, is comical. Yeah. The baggage carousel. I've been to airports like in like Sioux Falls that are nicer. than the Burbank airport. For real.
Starting point is 00:02:02 I didn't even know it existed. I just would go to LAX all the time and something. If you could fly at a Burbank, you should do it. And it flies in New York. There's like one flight a day that goes to New York. Yeah. I got to nail that one. But that's a hot ticket.
Starting point is 00:02:15 It's expensive. Yeah. For sure. Yeah. For sure. Okay. So I have to ask you, being an F1 fan in America, when you first became a fan,
Starting point is 00:02:25 does everybody think you're a maniac? Because I feel like that's what happened to me. Because you just, just become so, I don't know about you, but you become so obsessed with it and like learning everything at the same time that you can't stop talking about it. And then you try to weave it into everything you do. So like, let's say I do a commercial for McDonald's. And then so my sales team go, hey, we want you to read this commercial for McDonald's. I go, you know what would really hit if I was actually in Brazil like at the F1 race because they just did this collaboration with McDonald's.
Starting point is 00:02:56 And if I was just there just like doing some extra social media, like literally everything. every single thing that I do for the past year that I had to calm down. Did that happen to you? Did you become obsessed with it? No. No. No. No.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Because, men, see, the problem with you is, is you have a career that is completely divorced from this crazy hobby that you have. Yeah. We got this hobby that became a career. So like the last,
Starting point is 00:03:20 so like we get it all out at work. And then, and then if anybody, like, if I'm at a party and someone's like, hey, so that Max Verstappen, some driver, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:03:28 just leave me the fuck. I'm done. I'm done. You know what I'm saying? You, you, you, you, you like don't have that outlet. No, I don't. I don't. You don't have that outlet.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're that outlet for people. So like, we exist so people cannot annoy their friends at a party by talking about Max for Staff and they feel like they can talk to us about it. No, certainly, I mean, I think in the beginning before this podcast really became a thing and took off, we were annoying everyone around us. And, you know, that's why we needed to start the podcast so we could continue to maintain a social life. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:07 And I mean, because I still get excited like I'm at the airport and I see somebody wearing some merch. I'm like, oh, yeah, he's down. He knows what's up. You know, and then, but in America, Americans, you know, pretend like it's F1 is not as big as it is. It's still not cool in America. Well, it's cool-ish, but it's not like mainstream at all. I mean, you know, our friends who watch football, baseball, basketball, you know, the mainstream sports from the ones like it's such an afterthought.
Starting point is 00:04:36 I think there are like kind of little cool pockets and communities that like it. But no, when we started the podcast, when I was the same as you, I would see someone wearing F1 gear and I would literally like accost them on the subway. You have to listen to my podcast because there's no one talking to you except for me, except for like this is like we're providing an essential service right now for our crazy F1 fans. But no, certainly it's not mainstream in the United States by any mean. I discover your podcast and I want to get into how you even started it because I loosely know the story.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Probably like the tail end of last season and I started listening to it. I think it's like the most fun, entertaining podcasts involving F1 because I try to like, because I was just searching, just randomly searching F1 podcast. They're so effing boring, dude. You know? And then it's funny. and I'm just going to bring this up but it like I was looking at your reviews
Starting point is 00:05:32 and I could tell like the boogey people that are like hating on you guys are like oh you know terrible takes and blah blah blah blah blah blah like believe me it happens to me too like we get review we get review bombed all the time but like it's just so entertaining and like it's it's covered in a fun way you know
Starting point is 00:05:50 and that's why I was drawn to your podcast but you actually you just started it I know like Matt said that you kind of just started it for fun and then it became a career or what was happening there? Yeah, definitely. I mean, thank you for saying that. That's what we tried to do.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Because we grew up listening. I grew up like, I remember my bus driver. He listened to Z. He put on Z100 in New York every morning. And I would just listen to, you know, it was insanity. Yeah. And that was sort of the radio world that we grew up in. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:06:22 And we didn't see that. We didn't. So when we got into, we became obsessed with F1 during the pandemic, and we wanted to listen to podcast about it and we just couldn't find any. So bad. That had that energy. And we couldn't find anybody to talk to about it except each other.
Starting point is 00:06:41 And then it was Brian's idea that was like, well, we're just talking about it all that all like we won't shut up about it. Why don't we just record some conversations? And it's the pandemic. So we had nothing else going on. And that's kind of. We happen to stumble on the 2021 season. So it happened to be like a historic.
Starting point is 00:06:58 epic season, one that will go down in history. So it was like kind of lightning in a bottle that we got to, the first season that we really got to, you know, cover publicly was the epic Max and Lewis showdown with the, you know, with the controversy at the end. But I mean, I think to your point, like, yeah, we grew up listening to New York sports radio. So we're like, where is this in the Formula One world? Like, it's nowhere.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Yeah. And so we're like, let's just do that. Like, let's just be our bastardized versions of Mike and the Mad Dog. and we'll just talk about F1. And, you know, that's how the podcast was born, really. And then you started doing the podcast. And then when did you start getting attention from people in F1? Well, there was like, there's positive attention.
Starting point is 00:07:40 There's sometimes negative attention. But, you know, we started to go viral a little bit. Then we like went to our first race. We did our first, like, live show. And then we, we signed up with Friday beers, the media company. and someone at the Friday beers, knew someone at Red Bull. And then we,
Starting point is 00:08:01 Red Bull has kind of more of the energy that's, you know, open to people like us, the guys like us versus some of the other teams that are, you know, a little bit more scared. So we, uh, we, we, we started working with Red Bull. We went to like a show run at Red Bull. They do these things where they bring old F1 cars and they do donuts through like Nashville and we like went there and we covered that.
Starting point is 00:08:20 And then basically we slowly started making inroads, slowly started being able to get five minutes of people, 10 minutes with people, be able to do a sit down interview. And then obviously we met Guntur Steiner after he left Haas. And, you know, we talked to him. He wanted to do a podcast. We thought that he just wanted to do an episode. Like we were like, be the first episode, be with us.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Because we love Gunter. We open the episode, every episode with like, What's Up, Vanka's in honor of him. And then we heard from his people. No, no, no, no. We want him to do a podcast. But he liked you guys. So would you do one with him?
Starting point is 00:08:54 That's awesome. That blew our mind. And then we were, and then our association with him has also opened more doors. So we're, we're a little bit more of, we have a seat at the table. Yeah. It's might be in the corner, but we're in the room. The kids, the kids. Yeah, we're getting shadows, man.
Starting point is 00:09:09 We're still doing spitballs with the kids table. Yeah. That's cool. I, you know, I hate when interviewers talk about themselves. I just want to share a quick story because you didn't mention Red Bull and it helped you, like, really get into sport. And I, I want to shout out Red Bull, too, because that's kind of loose. how I got really into it because, well, I'm on the radio in Las Vegas, right?
Starting point is 00:09:31 And when F1 came to Las Vegas again, there was a lot of pushback. They're like, oh, this is, you know, disrupting the city and all this crap, right? So I was just, all the feedback that I would get was just from all the locals. And then so I didn't really pay attention to F1. And then a friend of our show, his name's Bert Kreischer, on his podcast, he goes on this whole rant about F1 and how awesome it is. So I go, you know what? I'm going to check it out.
Starting point is 00:10:00 And I had some friends that worked at Red Bull and they invited me out. And I'm like, dude, this is effing awesome. And I've been like obsessed ever since. And then if you go to Austria and go to their track, it's awesome. Like their whole vibe is exactly what you're talking about. It's a fun, cool vibe at the same time. And some of the other team's very bougie, you know, and I'm just not down with that. So, but this has taken you guys off into another avenue of releasing your own book.
Starting point is 00:10:29 From the title, if you want to read the title, but from the title I get, is it for newbies that are getting into F1 or just like kind of a like a history of F1? It's a bit of both. It's called Formula 101 for F1 fans who love the drama. So there's certainly, it's an approachable book for someone who wants to learn about the sport for the first time. So we'll go over some of the basics of like, what the hell is even this, what the hell is even that is I think what are the names of our chapters? What the hell is even that?
Starting point is 00:10:58 You know, what is a chicane? What is, what is an overcut? What is an undercut? What is a front wing? Aerodynamics? We break it all down for you. But there's jokes in there. If you already know what that stuff is, there's, you know, some inside jokes.
Starting point is 00:11:12 If you know, you know, kind of thing. But I think it's also for, it's a history of the sport through our eyes and through our POVs. So it's, we go through the teams, histories of the teams. We did a ton of research for this. We go through some of the iconic tracks, the scandals that the sport offers. And then we'll go into driver profiles. We break down the drivers in kind of different archetypes. So like the playboy, who are the playboy drivers of the 1970s, of the 1980s, of the 1990s,
Starting point is 00:11:40 who are the nerds, who are the Terminators, who are the precious baby angels. So it's kind of got something for everyone, but certainly it's like, I think, How I like to say it is like if you know nothing about F1, you'll learn a ton. And if you already know stuff about F1, there'll be other stuff in there that you didn't know about. I actually already pre-ordered it before I even knew that I was doing this interview with you guys. So I picked it up on Amazon. So I'm excited to see what it's all about. And I love that you put the drama in there because also I'll keep it real with you guys.
Starting point is 00:12:13 And I don't know if you'll hold it against me, but I have been a big Bravo guy for a long time in like the drama in there. and I was on a failed Bravo reality show. So like, and I like go to BravoCon. I've kind of fallen out of love with it now that I'm way into F1. But I'm just saying that like it's the drama is kind of the same between the drivers. Yes. Yes. Well, Brian, Brian is a huge reality TV show.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Nice. Yes. Yes. I was I was kind of like slowly eroded as my fiancee. just watched more and more Bravo shows. And then I was kind of like half watching. The classic. The classic.
Starting point is 00:12:55 And then Vanderpump rules and Summerhouse really. Once there were like, you know, some like insane men who were like in the picture and like they were started like fucking each other and cheating on each other. I was like, oh, I'm in. I like a housewife here and there. But but to your point, the Formula One world is filled with drama. I mean, listen, these cars on track, right? you know, Max Rastappan, you put Max Rastappen in the worst car on track, and he's not winning races.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Yeah. You know what I mean? So like the driver can only do so much. So then it's about what's going on behind the scenes that actually matters as much, if not more than what these guys are doing on track. And that's where the drama really lies. Cheaters, I mean, we got billionaires, people, shady people, want to be in this world. And they'll do anything to win because winning matters more than.
Starting point is 00:13:47 anything. They will go bankrupt, attempting to win lifetime ban. So the book covers a lot of that. You know, this guy Flavio Briatore, who now runs Alpine, who you know. But, you know, he was, I mean, he was a guy, a businessman in Italy. He had to flee the country because of what, I think it was tax evils. It was like Chauncy Billups. It was like Chauncy Billups. Allegedly. Allegedly. Like, allegedly, Chauncy Billups was allegedly fixing like poker games. Right. Like doing fraud like that. Yeah. Yeah. And then he was a fugitive from Italy.
Starting point is 00:14:20 And then while he was a fugitive, the Benetton patriarch let him lead the expansion into, he was living in the Caribbean, I believe. And from the Caribbean, he headed up the Benetton clothing expansion. And he did such a good job with that. Benetton was like, hey, you want to run our F1 team? And this guy had no, he had no F1 background. He knew nothing about F1. He just did a good job with the clothing brand expansion.
Starting point is 00:14:47 mansion. And, and then he took over Benetton. He signed Michael Schumacher. He, he, and he, and he, but fast forward to Alpine, he basically, he allegedly, uh, told the driver to crash on purpose to cause a safety car at a perfect moment. Basically, if you guys don't know what I'm talking about, he did, this is what's crazy. What Flavia Briatore did to get a lifetime ban is basically what Brad Pitt did like three different times in the F1 movie. If you're a real F1 fan If you're a real F1 fan You watch the F1 movie
Starting point is 00:15:20 And obviously it was enjoyable But you're watching it You're like lifetime band Yeah And that's a lifetime band You can't crash on purpose To cause a race stopage But that's what Flavio did
Starting point is 00:15:31 He did what Brad Pitt did Like in five different instances That's right And he got a lifetime band But it got overturned And now he's back Yeah Like Voldemort
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yeah I wonder how he weasled his way back in But like he did And I mean they're doing decent now. Yeah, they're doing really well. And they signed with Gucci, so hot merch coming at you, right? Oh, yeah. 100%.
Starting point is 00:15:54 I would say one thing with Formula One, not a huge fan of all the merch, though. I think that merch can be a little bit better. Also, it doesn't really cater to the fat guys like me. So it's a little rough. Well, you hit the nail on the head. It's two euro in its stylings and its sizing. Right. You just look a bit, you look a bit Euro when you wear them.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Yeah, 100%. So hopefully, yeah, Red Bull like come out once in a while with some good stuff. Yeah, Red Bull. Red Bull did a collab with these with Cherry, Los Angeles, which is kind of like a Texas street wearish vibe. And they've got some, they do some good stuff. I know certainly there's a lot to be desired from the F1 March. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Lance Skull, if he has a Ferrari, a Red Bull, even a racing bowl, what's going to happen? Well, Lance Skroll isn't going to do anything. Well, I think, it's interesting. I think Lance Stroll, he would be pretty bad in all those cars currently because I think they're so close right now. Like there's not that much difference. But I think if you gave him one of Lewis's Mercedes, like in 2014 or 2015, and you get and you had Andy and he had me as a teammate, right? Because that's the problem with F1.
Starting point is 00:17:27 He couldn't, he can't beat any teammate that's any good. So if you, if he had like a world beating car and a teammate that was legally blind, he could win a world championship. Because I know that you're laying off Lance Scroll on your podcast a little bit, I feel. Lance is he's an easy target. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's like, he's the epitome of everything that's wrong with F1, but he's not the only offender, you know?
Starting point is 00:17:55 Yeah. There's lots of guys in this, in this sport who grew up with generational wealth who have, who are where they are because of daddy's money, right? Yeah. Lance Stroll is just like the most egregious about it. There's the least tack. There's the least smoke and mirrors. but, you know, like a lot of these guys are nepo too.
Starting point is 00:18:15 So we just, you know, he's an easy target. We don't like to go after easy targets. We like to go after difficult targets like Total Wolf. That's a guy who we like to go after because it's a, you know, that's a hard guy to, you know, get a good punch in on. Whereas Lance Stroll's just sitting there with his hands tied behind his back saying, yeah, I mean, I don't even want to be here. My dad's a billionaire.
Starting point is 00:18:34 He owns the team. And he bought my way into this seat. You know, that's, it's too easy. It's like going after airplane. food. Yeah. It's just, it's a tag. No, like, I get it. Like, I, I, I don't care about Nepo babies or whatever, but at least like try. That's all I care about, you know? Yeah, I mean, he does seem to be completely miserable in his situation, which is kind of frustrating that he hates to be there. Yeah. So it's like, at least, you know, we, you know, Mitch Schumacher,
Starting point is 00:19:02 Michael Schumacher's kid, he was in Formula One for a little bit. And then, you know, we were kind of, he wasn't doing so great. And we were like, you know, just get out of here and be rich. Like, like, just just live your nice, awesome, rich life. And then he left F1. Now he's an IndyCar. But for a while there, he was like wearing rings and he was like flashing his, you know, on a private jet. We're like, this is where you guys should be.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Like you should be on a private jet with your petite, Petekfilippe watch and with your model girlfriend. And just go be rich over there. And we can see out on Instagram. Stop clogging up the Formula One. But I like the extremes. Like I, you know, I like seeing my billionaires live a nice, quiet life. like enjoying their lives.
Starting point is 00:19:42 But I also like seeing them completely fucking miserable. That's sort of like that's what made succession so good because it's like, oh, they're miserable too. Yeah. Like money doesn't self. So like seeing Lance Stroll like have all the money in the world and be completely, like have the best job in the world, you know, be able to date whoever and he's completely miserable.
Starting point is 00:20:03 It's kind of like it's enlightening. What I don't like is when there's like millionaires. or billionaires kids, they're like, I don't know. Like, how should I feel, like, pick, pick a lane. Yeah. You know, when they have, like, anxiety. Like, just choose to be miserable or choose to be really happy. But the anxiety about the wealth, like, just pick a lane.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Yeah. Be Kendall Roy. Or be, or be Leonardo DiCaprio. Yeah. Just pick, but pick. Dude, Matt, you nailed it because what I, in my line of work, you know, I'm around a lot of music artists and some of them are Nepo babies. and they act exactly what you're talking about right now.
Starting point is 00:20:43 They're just like they don't pick a link. Right. Yeah, yeah. I love that. Nothing, nothing is more annoying than like a rich person who feels like awkward about being rich. I'm just like just to just live your life. Just be rich.
Starting point is 00:20:58 If you don't want the money, give it to me. Give it to other people. Give it to people. I'll do awesome shit with it. Rule. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Moving on to Lewis Hamilton. Do you think he gets another championship?
Starting point is 00:21:10 no. No. No. Too much. Too much, too much, too much shit against him. Ferrari, Ferrari is a cluster fuck. And when he had the, and we already saw when he had a sniff at it, he was kind of sniffing it earlier this year and they wouldn't tell Charles to get out of the way.
Starting point is 00:21:29 So like between, between their own papaya version of papaya rules and their inability to develop a car and their inability to do strategy. And, you know, and their constant ability to fold under pressure, I just don't think it's possible. Yeah, that's sad. Okay, so going to Papaya, Lando, one time champ or at least two-time champ. You know, it all depends on whether they can get him the car that is going to be, you know, leagues ahead. Because, you know, he had two bites at it. First time he had couldn't quite get there the second time.
Starting point is 00:22:09 He limped his way to the championship. I think if they come out next year and are miles ahead, then I think he's got a chance. But do I think he can pull off, you know, a battle with three or four teams that are all gunning for it? No. So if I was a betting man, I would say no,
Starting point is 00:22:27 one championship. Okay. I have one more question because I think I'm about to take up too much time. are you all in or all out and I'm not going to sway your vote just yet and I'll give you my answer formula E next year or while later this year it would be politically incorrect for us to say we were all the way out but we we are we are not in okay make the case make the case I'm in dude I'm in I went to the Miami race I enjoyed it it felt like you know something is happening here I know they've been around for a while, but they're making some really good changes.
Starting point is 00:23:05 And obviously, the new cars next year. And they're making moves, man. I was just at ComplexCon. Guess who was there? Formula E did. They just signed with Disney. Disney Plus is going to have these streaming rights, which I thought was an interesting thing because, you know, Disney has this whole collab with F1, but they took over all the rights
Starting point is 00:23:26 for the streaming. And again, with all these, like, cool collabs and, you know, getting the word out. about Formula E and the cars don't look like these weird boats anymore. I think it might pop off next year. I just feel like to be as into F1 as we are, the three of us. And then, you know, you got to keep up with Indy car because, you know, the Indy 500 gets is interesting, obviously. But like, and then, you know, you've got your basketball.
Starting point is 00:23:55 Like, at some point it becomes a mental illness, no? Yeah, true. Like at some point, like, yeah, yeah. I think if I started watching Formula E as regularly as I was keeping up with F1 and IndyCar, like at certain point it's like time to go to a facility. Yeah, for sure. No, there's just too much content to consume. There are a lot of races.
Starting point is 00:24:17 But, you know, Formula E, we'd love to be, you know, we'd love to, you know, for us to have that illness. So if you want to, you want to invite us to a couple races and see what it's all about. I went to one race in Brooklyn years ago, and it was a good time because I think at the penultimate lap, like if there was a seven car pile up and the race ended in absolute chaos when they used to do the race over at Brooklyn. So that was a good time. And now a lot of the Formula One cars are, you know, I've taken from the Formula E cars. So it's a lot more like Formula One than it ever used to be. Yeah, for sure. I definitely will introduce you guys to some people there because I just met them at ComplexCon.
Starting point is 00:24:55 and we rarely have mutual friends. So I'll definitely forward the info to you. Fantastic. Look at this. Menace is about to make our career. Menace is about to fucking, we're, there'll be a pre-menace, pre-menace, post-menace. Hey, dude.
Starting point is 00:25:09 I'm trying to get you sponsors, get you guys linked up. No, I'm telling you, I'm like a legit fan. That's what I was about to say. Oh, thank you. Imagine if we were single, he'd get us late, too. That's right. I could probably do that too. But no, the, the other thing is I, yeah, I do.
Starting point is 00:25:25 want to talking about consuming content. I do want to join your Patreon. That's the one thing that I have not joined yet, but I will, I will do that right after this interview. It's just because, again, going to Matt's point. No, we'll wait. Why don't you do it now? We'll sit here and wait.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll do it right now. Yeah, I'll do it. Right now. Don't print. I'm kidding. No, the, um, no, you just give me your credit,
Starting point is 00:25:50 just type in your credit card. No, say it on air. Say it on air. Say it on air. Say it on air. Oh damn, there it is right there I bought it. No.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Yeah, but so yeah, I'm going to join the Patreon. Can you explain how the Patreon system works for people that want to check it out? Yeah, yeah. Well, we do a two, usually three extra episodes a month on Patreon. Most times during the season, post-qualie, we'll do like an immediate post-quality episode. That's for the, you also get a newsletter. if you're at, I believe, the $10 tier, and you get to do a monthly live show, live,
Starting point is 00:26:28 you know, virtual hang out with us. That's for the $10 tier. And if you're a $50 tier, you're a daddy of the pod. We read your name at the end of the episode, and you get daddy privileges. You get more attention from us. And we're doing a deal right now up until the book comes out. If you sign up to be a daddy of the pod,
Starting point is 00:26:45 you get a free signed book by Matt and I, which is included in your daddy tier. So if you're thinking about buying the book, you think about joining the Patreon, come be a daddy. So, you know, it's extra, it's extra content, it's extra episodes. And we get to be a little bit, you know. $5. You get, you get the edgy or raw content.
Starting point is 00:27:02 You know, we're becoming more corporate now, you know, where you have to, like, go to races and we have sponsors and whatever. And the patrons where you get the kind of just the free flowing early era red flags energy. I love it. I will become a daddy. How about that? Hell yeah. I'll go that level.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Daddy Menace. For real. Daddy Menace. Because I love a good shout out. So I'm going to definitely. Hell yeah. Definitely put it on there. Well, you could put whatever you want, like menace hates for Step and menace.
Starting point is 00:27:33 No. I don't know, dude. I got to keep my Red Bull plug like. Yeah. Also, it's, it's a promotional material so you can write it off. Oh, for sure. Dude, look. See?
Starting point is 00:27:44 Now we're now. See? smarter than I am. There we go. Dude. Love it. Well, yeah. It was awesome.
Starting point is 00:27:50 talking with you guys. I'm sure we'll link up in Vegas. Vegas. Yes. Okay. Perfect. Sure. That'd be super fun.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Okay. I'll wrap up with some of the stuff. Thanks so much. Yeah. Thank you guys. I appreciate you. Thank you. Appreciate it, man.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Thank you. Was this? I was recording. Okay. All right. All right. All right. All right, everybody.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Thank you for checking out my interview with the guys from the Red Flag's podcast. Make sure you pre-order their book right now on Amazon and drop that comment on their Instagram page at Red Flag's podcast. HOD. Anywhere, just drop comments say, I loved your interview with Menace because I'll love to talk to them some more. And for all you F-1 fans, keep on following my personal page at Menace, M-E-N-A-C-E. I'll be in Austin, Texas, possibly Mexico City, definitely Las Vegas, and who knows where the last races of the year are going to end up. And for 2027, I'm going hard in the paint for Formula E. So if you want to follow along with me, check them out. It's
Starting point is 00:28:48 going to be badass and I'm already planning my races for next year. And if you really don't know anything about F1 and you're just being supportive by listening to this interview, thank you. But if you want to catch up on everything, of course, some purists will say, don't watch Drive to Survive. I say, don't listen to them. Check out Drive to Survive on Netflix. Check out episode one of the last season. It will catch you up on everything. Get into it. Then go on Apple TV. They have short forms of the races that you can catch up on. Like races are like two hours or more. They have 30 minute versions of the races and like highlights that you can watch.
Starting point is 00:29:27 My personal favorite is Max Verstappen as a racer. I love the Red Bull team. But Kimmy Antonelli of Mercedes is just absolutely killing it. You can't count out Ferrari or McLaren though. Ferrari, they have the goat, Lewis Hamilton, Charles LeClair, big fan favorite. And McLaren is just a young, hungry team. team that were big winners last year. This year, the other team for Red Bulls,
Starting point is 00:29:51 you'll learn more about it when you watch Strider Survive. They're crushing it. There's a new team, Cadillac, not doing so well. But it's a first year team, so people are giving them a break. The season's almost over, but Asa Martin is finally getting it together. And the guy Lance Scroll, who I asked about in the interview, he drives for that team. Haas is actually another American team. And the owner of that team actually went to Cal State Northridge.
Starting point is 00:30:15 And one of their young drivers is a potential future Ferrari driver. There's so much to cover. The Red Flag's podcast definitely takes care of you and recaps everything for you every week during the races. Also, I did sign up to be a daddy of the pod. I just got my first shout out at the end of the recap of the Singapore race. But if you're F-1 fan, please hit me up at Menace, M-E-N-A-C-E. Tell me who your team is, who your driver is.
Starting point is 00:30:41 And maybe we can possibly beat up at a race. Until then, keep enjoying Formula One. Thank you.
