What's new? What's new with Metis? What's up everybody and welcome to another edition of What's New Pod. I am Metis. I'm joined by nobody. I'm actually recording the podcast on my own today. I didn't get to record yesterday because there is so many cool things happening with the Woody Show and so many cool events that we're putting together. And something happened yesterday where I couldn't record because I really, really want to help somebody. So I'll

tell you more about that. But before that, I know a lot of you want to go to the Woody Show After Hours Takeover at California Adventure Park. That's happening August 19th. and we're doing some things with plus we're doing things with the Warner Brothers Hollywood studio tour so many things going on but yesterday I canceled the recording of what's new pod because I'm really really trying to help this place called Animal Tracks. Now, you might have heard us talk about Animal Tracks on the Woody Show before. It's an animal sanctuary. A bunch of Woody Show listeners work there, and they're really, really in need of some help. Now, I know everybody's struggling, and they might not have money to donate, but maybe you can just help get the word out. So Animal Tracks is located in agua dulce

california and one of the primary ways that they made money is having people come visit the sanctuary but of course that couldn't happen during covid and during the middle of covid their area got rezoned and they can't even operate there anymore so now that covet is over they still can't make any money to help support all these animals. Now I'm talking about exotic animals like monkeys, alligators, lemurs, so many different animals. Check out their website, animaltracksinc.org. Now they're asking for donations, but that's, you know, not what I'm asking for here. What I was trying to do yesterday by meeting with some people was just helping getting the word out to let people know what's going on, because they're trying to find even a new place where they can even move to operate. And they might run out of money where they can't even do that.

Also, behind the scenes, there's been a lot of cool things that have been happening that I've been working on personally. And a couple of my friends and I got together and we have something that we're going to launch pretty soon. Hopefully I can talk about it next week. It's already secretly for sale on Amazon. That's all I can really tell you. Hopefully on the next What's New pod, I'll straight up say it, what it is.

That would be awesome. Plus some other exciting things with more content coming at you. But we just had to get all these things out of the way so we can get back on track. After actually I record this little podcast for you, I'm going to be heading off to Vegas. And I'm going to be out there with Woody. And we're going to be checking out Area 15, which is going to be part of the iHeartRadio Festival this year. So if you can make it out to Vegas, you should go to that. The iHeartRadio Festival is going to be happening September 17th and 18th this year. And the daytime stage is going to be at the Area 15 that I'm talking about. And it is so cool.

in San Diego? Not too much s***. I'm going to a game tonight. Oh, really? Yeah. Who's playing? Padres versus Rocky. Who's going to win? Hopefully the Padres.

I didn't know you were a Padres fan. I'm a Giants fan, but they're kind of my side team. Oh, who's going to win it all? The Bucks or the Suns? I'm a Giants fan, but they're kind of my side team. Oh, who's going to win it all, the Bucs or the Suns? Who won yesterday? The Suns.

Then I think hopefully the Suns will win. Oh, I have a question because I know you're an Arby's connoisseur. Woody hates Arby's. I like Arby's. Arby's rules, right? Yeah. I wish they still had it in my's. I like Arby's. Arby's rules, right? Yeah. I wish they still had it in my town. I know.

What was your favorite item? I only ordered two things. The roast beef sandwich and the French dip Swiss. Oh, hell yeah. What's your go-to fast food now? Carl's Jr. and McDonald's and In-N-Out. Dude, you got to go to Raising Cane's when they open in the San Francisco Bay Area. It's so good. We'll go, all right?
