Starting point is 00:00:00 What's new with Menace? What's up everybody and welcome to another edition of what's new pod I'm menace I'm joined by my friends that would be Bort aka Brett He's an audio expert and syndication expert with the woody show morning show that you can hear across the United States and around the world On the woody show morning show that you can hear across the United States and around the world on the woody show podcast today We are joined by Tyler aka heavy t aka D a t aka heavy torta and he's coming to his life from California also over in Covina, California, that would be our friend Julie and Eric cannot join us today He has a lot of work to do also I don't know what was Randy's excuse this week. I mean do we want an honest answer of what he's doing? Oh
Starting point is 00:00:52 Well, maybe we'll get into okay Well, just a quick shout out. We will be at Marago Casino Resort and Spa next Saturday. That'd be June 21st the whole woody show crew We We're gonna be there. It starts at 7 p.m It is the woody show prom you do not have to dress up But if you want to you can the spasmatics are performing DJ. Scotty Fox is gonna be there We're gonna be giving away a bunch of cash gift cards So all you need to do is be 21 and up and show up and hang out with us to party also July 12th I will be at set it out. I do not know the time just
Starting point is 00:01:26 yet but I'll keep you up to date on that. And on July 18th it's a Friday, myself and Bort, we're gonna be at Farmer Boys in Huntington Beach California from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. I'm so excited for that one. Now Julian have you been shocked to see images of Heavy T, aka Tyler, in studio with the Woody Show again? I wasn't sure what the heck was going on at first. Yeah, we have him working on some special projects for us right now, but he's showing up in Woody Show videos. You've been sent secret photos of him looking like he's dying in the studio.
Starting point is 00:02:03 It's always bittersweet when you're back in the building. Yeah, it's weird, right? Because Julianne, you've gone through this before and I've gone through this many times. This is my third time working for iHeartRadio. So you never say fully goodbye. You're just like, maybe I'll see you again one day. So yeah, we have Tyler working on some projects for us because he was so impressive on the Woody Shoe Cruise. Can you believe it? People thought it was just a joke for him to come along with me and then rising like that. Tyler's a good worker though. As all the crap we talk about him. Sorry, I'm eating some raisin bread, but he is a very good, I'm hungry. He's a good worker. Yeah, for sure. Tyler's a great worker, just not enough for me
Starting point is 00:02:45 to stop eating and give him his prizes, but that's OK. See, that's the problem. Good worker, and then he opens his mouth and says something stupid. He said something. So Tyler, with his special projects, he's in and out of the studio this week, right? So he'll spend about an hour or so with me.
Starting point is 00:03:00 And my god, if Eric was still in the studio, there's at least five times every morning that I just look over at him like, Eric would have killed you by now. Oh, damn. See, I'm in another studio, so I can't be here to laugh at it. And I usually don't humble them.
Starting point is 00:03:16 It's usually Randy and Eric who are the humblers. Yeah, but they ain't here. They're not here. And you're too busy working. I gotta play the both sides where I'm like, okay I'm not gonna say anything kind of let him amuse himself and then there's a part of me That's like no, I gotta kick him at the knees again, but this is a good lesson It's like don't burn your bridges as much as you want to at least if you're in an industry
Starting point is 00:03:39 That's pretty small which we are not a lot of people get to do this Why are you gonna burn your bridges? You know, just try to stay cool with people. If there's people you don't like, just don't interact with. That's my advice. Yeah. You might be forced to interact with them, but just don't be combative to them, like constantly back and forth because you never know when you're going to have to work with them again.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Like Tyler. There's at least one person that I know Tyler wanted to go nuclear on. And mean say person I wanted to yeah, I was just like just don't just relax Let it go. Yeah, and you know when Tyler first started with us I think Woody thought that maybe he wasn't you know, the sharpest tool in the shed because I don't I don't know if you remember Tyler but so Tyler and I obviously was out in the same room So I knew Tyler like he's just like, he knows so much about like the weirdest things. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:04:29 You kind of know me as Kevin. Like you guys just like have all this knowledge and you would never, you don't look like the type of person that would. So anyways, they are Woody wanted Tyler to go in there. And I think do the DUIQ. We talked about this today. Me and Tyler were literally talking about this. Continue please. Yeah. And, and so like Tyler and
Starting point is 00:04:53 I were talking about it in the studio and I was like, Oh my God, you're totally going to rock this. Like they have no idea that you're going to go in there like that. You know, so much because they didn't know Tyler as much as I did. And Tyler went in there and he did so so much because they didn't know Tyler as much as I did and Tyler went in there and he did so good that Woody didn't want him back in there for the DUIQ and I got put right back in there. Let's switch this up for the week. He's like oh crap Tyler's too smart. Yeah he knew all the answers like quick too so yeah. How does it feel to hang out again though with some people around here Tyler? Dude honestly, it's been pretty cool. I like how for the most part everyone's been pretty open and like welcoming me back and all that stuff like that. Just gotta get used to the sleep schedule again, which will come in time. But yeah man, it's been really cool. It just feels like that camaraderie that you had that you built up all these years is just there.
Starting point is 00:05:43 So even when Tyler says something, there's like a quick response from me, a quick response from him. And it's kind of bleeding over to Andrew, okay, Menji, which I always call him. Anything that he says, I'm just quick to snap at him now. And it's like the Tyler bleed over. I'm like, I like this. This is good. Very nice.
Starting point is 00:06:01 It sucks. I don't really actually get any time to interact with Tyler while he's here because he's working. Again, we're in different rooms. That's the funny thing is I didn't tell Menace about this special project, although in my defense it came together super late. But I come in Tuesday for my first day of doing this and Menace just walks in and he's like, what? Yeah, it was wild. We're ballin', man, we're having fun. Yeah, it's super fun. I'm glad that you're hanging out with us.
Starting point is 00:06:32 It's all love. Speaking about love, I'm getting so much love for shouting out Legos. Yeah. Or actually a lot of hate by saying the word Legos instead of Lego is Legos Like so they're complaining let it go. So I shared a story I've been you know sharing here on the podcast that I now have a new Lego addiction and it's the f1 set
Starting point is 00:06:58 There's ten cars and I've been building them non-stop it bled on over to the woody show and we started talking about it on the air and So many people chimed in said all I love building Legos But there was a Lego purist that's sextant and go it's not Legos. It's Lego. So I'm gonna build my Lego Everyone says Legos. I thought they were saying something about the E. It's like Lego not no They just say no s at all. You can't say without you can't say it with an s. Yeah, it's like Lego not no they just say no s at all you can't say without you can't say it with an s yes it's almost like saying moose they're like but isn't there an s at the end this is an entertaining conversation I thought it was
Starting point is 00:07:34 spelled le gos no unless there's some Mandela effect I think there is there might be there could be I'm literally looking at Lego sets on target right now. It's le g Oh, yeah, it's like oh Maybe it was Legos. I mean it good. We're in a dude type-shifted, bro Going back to the Mandela effect. I'm glad we brought this up. So fruit of the loom, right? I was just thinking dude. We have ESPN Right, I was just thinking dude. We have ESPN The fruit of the room one bothers me because I swear to God there was a cornucopia in the logo There definitely was I remember the packaging
Starting point is 00:08:19 So it's it's the basket thing is called. it's the basket all the food is in, right? Yes, yes, yes. I thought it was just a thing of grapes, like a bundle of grapes. Okay, see, you're in a different timeline because me and Bort grew up in the timeline where there was a basket in the logo. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Oh, really? I also remember the basket in the logo. Right? I am in that same timeline. So, Julianne, you're in a different timeline. But here's another thing, okay? The whole thing that this Mandela effect thing is named after, I swear to God, when I was a kid,
Starting point is 00:08:56 I saw Mandela's funeral on television at my friend's house. My friend and I were going into his home, the TV was on, and they were showing Mandela's funeral. Now if you don't know what the Mandela effect is and you're like, what are you guys even talking about? Look it up. Some people remember that Mandela from South Africa died, but obviously that didn't happen. He lived a long life and then he eventually died. So people are like, there must be different timelines, different dimensions that people went into and they remember different things.
Starting point is 00:09:28 So is this all in Mandela effect? Was Tyler even like not on the Woody Show or has he been here this whole time? Was he here at all? Are we dreaming this? That'd be a messed up dream. Like, oh, you can dream anything. I have a dream that Tyler's working with us again.
Starting point is 00:09:42 That would kind of hurt my feelings, but it's okay. It's a cool payoff. This is what I'm saying. We got to kick him at the knees quick. I have a dream I could be driving a Ferrari right now, but no, I'm here with Tyler. You're just building them out of Legos. Oh, sorry, Lego. Crap. Damn it.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Lego. Lego. Oh, speaking about cars, big race weekend for me. I know no one else cares, but I want to share these little fun facts with you. The 24 hour Le Mans, it's happening in France and it's a 24 hour car race. And you're like, why are they having a 24 hour car race? So back in the day when it was cars versus horses, car manufacturers, uh, got a lot of crap because people were like, Oh, cars, they break down.
Starting point is 00:10:25 You always have to fix them, but you always have a horse. The horse is more reliable, right? So they came up with this race with all the manufacturers to show like, Hey, we could be like speeding in these cars for 24 hours straight and nothing will happen to them. They're built solid. So that's been happening for over, I think a hundred years now. It's pretty cool. It's highlighted in the movie, Ford versus Ferrari, but the team that's won the most is Porsche and then Ferrari second.
Starting point is 00:10:53 So pretty fun, but that's happening. Then I have my F1 this weekend too. That's happening in Canada. Also you have NASCAR in Mexico City for the first time. So big, big weekend for racing. I have two things on this real quick that's interesting that's happening. One, dude, Red Bull Racing is getting crapped on so hard because they announced a partnership this weekend for some merch. And who is it with? Mr. Drake. And dude, you should read the comments. It is so funny to like, I mean, the merch looks cool. And then it's super weird because Drake is all about
Starting point is 00:11:34 promoting the betting site stake and they have their own team. So like, why isn't he doing stuff with that team? Why is he doing it with Red Bull? And people are like all upset over all this stuff. It's very interesting. But the other thing I want to say about Mexico City, I really want to go to Mexico City.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Is it cool or not cool? I asked on the Woody Show, people texted in, they said they loved it. But if people listen to this podcast, you've been to Mexico City, hit me up in the email. If you go to my Instagram, at menace, M-E-N-A-C-E, and then click contact, I'll actually see your message if you do that because give me some pro
Starting point is 00:12:08 tips about Mexico City I want to definitely check that out I got a few friends they'll give you some alright yeah some ins and outs of Mexico City yeah that'd be cool is the plan of this also to go very soon so you can get those Happy Meals toys no they're supposed to be out this month but the Happy Meal toys are for the f1 movie which comes out June 27th Which I got to see early which is awesome So if anyone is in Mexico the toys are only in Mexico in Happy Meals at McDonald's and South America and South America So if you are in Mexico and or South America you have access to these toys
Starting point is 00:12:41 And maybe your kid doesn't want them or maybe you just want a Happy meal Feel free to send them to you what he showed for minutes. Yes. Here's the address the woody show 3400 West Olive Avenue Sweet 550 of all very important sweet 550 Burbank, California 9-1-5-0-5. Yes send toys to board as well. Oh, yes. I need a rain course still Wait since I am there now if anyone has the new Fast and Furious Lego set. I'm asking for something that's like two cents. I'll pay you back for it. It's just incredibly sold out everywhere and I can't find it. Really?
Starting point is 00:13:19 What car is it? The one from Fast and Furious 2. The pink girl car suit It's her car. It's Suki's car. Yeah. I was telling Brett this yesterday people are buying it I cannot find it anywhere on any of like the store websites I'm seeing it being resold on eBay for like 75 plus. I hate people so much. Damn. Oh going back to movies real quick Did you hear about Thunderbolts? It's gonna end up losing millions of dollars even though got really good reviews I don't understand that I don't understand how it's losing millions Is it just the potential of the reach of it? It could have made more because I well I looked it up They said it made worldwide 375 million dollars. They said the budget was 200 million dollars. So how you not making money?
Starting point is 00:14:02 I think maybe when it says your budget is this amount does that include? Your marketing budget to you. Yeah, or is that just production your budget is all of it So that should include everything including the marketing budget. So how are you losing money? I thought the marketing was weird on it to be honest Yeah so it pretty much they sold the movie as Thunderbolts because that's the group, right? And I think that they want to distance themselves
Starting point is 00:14:29 from this is another Avengers movie at first. They didn't want people to just go, oh, it's a crappy Avengers movie. Let's ignore it. Kind of like how Captain America 4. People are like, ah, it's Captain America, but not the first one. Let's kind of skip it.
Starting point is 00:14:43 So they sold it as this other team of pretty much bad guys That are anti heroes and then at the end of the movie they become the new Avengers and so they went okay Now that people have seen it the ones that were kind of weary about it Let's grab all the Marvel fans that maybe wouldn't have watched in the first place. So new Avengers I know it's kind of weird. They did it with the Falcon Winter Soldier show. At the end of it they called it Captain America and the Winter Soldier. So they've done it before to try to help broaden the audience at the end after opening week.
Starting point is 00:15:17 To explain it even further, the Thunderbolts thing in the middle of all the marketing, they changed the name of the movie and put it as the new Avengers. So, I don't know. I want to shout out, I feel some of the best marketing in quite a long time was for the Lilo and Stitch movie. They had that little electronic stitch everywhere. It was freaking hilarious.
Starting point is 00:15:38 That's true, yeah. I think they hit it out of the park on that one. I hear Julianne's seen it seven times with her 15 kids. Have you watched it? I haven't seen it not one time. Oh my god. It's so good. I heard it's not good because.
Starting point is 00:15:51 It is. No, no, no, no. We've talked about this. I said that people were butchering it all over Twitter. I saw it myself with Menace when we were on the cruise ship because they were showing it. It's nowhere near as bad as people were making it out to be. It's actually pretty decent.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Yeah, because the beef was that it didn't follow the original story line. Because of the older sister. I mean, Julian, you would be all for the new timeline. What are you talking about? No. It would be a new mandala effect for you. You're like, but I remember this.
Starting point is 00:16:24 No, I like when things say the same. I don't like when they change the characters around. I don't like when they change things about the movie. Well, I said I never saw the animated version, so I'm not attached to it. I love this new movie. So I had no issue with it. Yeah. Well, that makes sense to you. And also Bort, I can't take a one year old and a two year old to go see a movie. Now Felicity, when she was a year and a half, she was, she's my unicorn kid.
Starting point is 00:16:49 I took her to her first movie at a year and a half and I've always gone to the movies with her. But this two-year-old kid that I have right now, shoot, please. I have to take her nowhere. Yeah, she'd be like running rampant out there in them streets. So no, thank you. I can't I can't take them. Okay, I
Starting point is 00:17:08 Have to watch movies at home now Just take Tyler next time. Yeah a trailer real quick NFL news Really the big things Aaron Rodgers went to the Steelers Talking about that. We'll see how that plays out But the breaking news as we're getting off the air today, Antonio Brown wanted for attempted murder? Because Antonio Brown is a goddamn clown, I swear. I swear this idiot.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Do you have any more details on this? So from what I read, he was at Aiden Ross's, which first off, that's your first red flag is going to anything Aiden Ross related. Yeah. He was at Aiden Ross's, which first off, that's your first red flag is going to anything Aiden Ross related. Yeah. He was at Aiden Ross's boxing event and cops got called and Antonio Brown said like, Oh, I got jumped, whatever. They, I think it was something like they tried stealing my chain. So they ha I think they had him arrested originally, but then they took a statement that they let him go. Well, it turns out he might've been the guy trying to kill someone because one
Starting point is 00:18:06 of the other guys was saying that he ran up to him with a firearm and it's like, well, okay, so maybe this didn't happen. I guess the cops found some more footage and now they want Antonio Brown for attempted murder. Oh no. So it's not going well for us. And it's not going well because once again, like I said, Antonio Brown is a goddamn clown.
Starting point is 00:18:27 I'm so mad because I wanted to get Antonio Brown audio for the Woody Show because he was supposed to show up to the Burt Kreischer, Tom Segura, 5K in Tampa, which I thought was, again, super weird because the last time he was at the Tampa Bay Stadium, he like walked off the field in the middle of the game. But he was legit on the guest list. I saw his name on the list.
Starting point is 00:18:50 They had his photo on the list. And then I went into the green room of the 5K and they had a gift bag for Antonio Brown. So I go, oh my God, he legit might be showing up, but he never showed up. Oh, I wonder if it's because he knew the cops were looking for Interesting that would make sense Look I'm just saying his people were probably like yeah, don't don't go don't do this. Don't be dumb
Starting point is 00:19:19 Yeah, because they might have publicized that he was gonna be there That would make sense, yeah. Or maybe he thought that, like, whoever he was trying to run up at with the gun or whatever, might try to get him back in public. I'm just saying. It is Tampa Bay. You never know. Much like how Randy's not here because he knows we would corner him on something.
Starting point is 00:19:39 So, Randy, not too many details, but Randy is back in the Pokemon game, apparently. Randy's a wild boy. Is he flipping cards or is he claiming this is for his own personal use? So, Randy, again. Notorious Flipper. Notorious Flipper, who said, oh, I don't even have any Pokemon cards. I'm not into little boo-boos or is suddenly buying Pokemon cards again. Mm-hmm. I'm not into little boo-boos or it's suddenly buying Pokemon cards again So you're claiming that right now. There's some Pokemon drops happening, and then that's why he's not on the podcast with us
Starting point is 00:20:11 So as um and we won't divulge the sources here But we do know you can get them and we did have Randy deny that he was not getting them Yeah on the podcast in in the chat, everything. And then what happens? Here's a picture of his whole bunch of lead trader boxes claiming what kind of cards he has and how much they're worth. My theory is Randy is very quick to get whatever's hot
Starting point is 00:20:39 and try to flip it and try to make something of it. We know a lot of the stuff he's done, like PS5s, he was doing that, getting PS5s for people that needed them, you know, flipping a couple, you know. And, you know, he was trying to sell books at one point, I don't know if you know that, he was selling books on Amazon,
Starting point is 00:20:54 and trying to flip those from, you know, used shops and stuff. My theory is, he was trying the little boo-boos, it did not take, because they were too hard to get. Pokemon cards he's able to get, but I think the reason why he's flipping them is so that he could have the money to buy Switch twos and then flip those damn He's in the long play right now Wow
Starting point is 00:21:17 So what is the long play with him when it comes to flipping stuff like does he do it enough on a consistent? Basis where he can make some good income out of it? Or is this like these little hits here and there? Because remember he was getting all this random stuff. Didn't he get you like a bunch of diapers, Julianne? And he was gonna try to flip diapers and like batteries and stuff. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Allegedly, he like got all these diapers for some reason. It got shipped to his house. He's not sure how. So then he just gave them to me. Okay. There may have been a video, at one point, Tyler, you saw the same video of his storehouse at one point. I did, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:54 It reminds me, that little bastard owes me batteries now that I think about it, but sure. He had like two giant, I mean giant crates of batteries, they were like 50 pounds each He's like hey we need batteries What is happening with this guy? But no I wish he would do something that's like more Consistent income I think he's done pretty well But isn't this stuff a pain in the ass like you got to receive it and then you got to sell it somewhere else And then you got to ship it
Starting point is 00:22:20 Where is he getting all this money to like buy all these things like he's constantly constantly buying stuff. Like dang, I want to make Randy money. I know, right? Look, Julianne, the wild thing is when you put these things on your resume, it leads to more money. So like I said, now that he has found some certain cards with this Pokemon collection, I told him in the group chat, you can now list investor of Japanese entertainment on your resume People are gonna look at that and be like no this this guy might be onto something. We should hire this guy I like that and whereas me and Julianne are more like so this is where you actually buy the ring, right? Because he needs money, I mean Randy always needs money even when you didn't need money he needs money Yeah for something something something new and you know, here's the thing about Randy
Starting point is 00:23:09 He is such a lovable kind person that he will try to go out of his way to gift items to people Which I think sometimes he does in order to gain favor like in a way of like oh this person will think well of me You know or think I'm a friend or something. I'll give it to them at cost So when it comes to Randy and let's say, you know one or think I'm a friend or something, I'll give it to them at cost. So when it comes to Randy, and let's say, you know, one day he proposes or something like that, you think he's gonna have a wedding that we would be invited to, or is he just gonna like do what I did and get married at Taco Bell?
Starting point is 00:23:38 Well, to be fair, in your defense, that wasn't your original plan. Yeah, during COVID. So that wasn't your plan. As for Randy. I think his mom would kill him if he didn't your original plan. Yeah, during COVID. So that wasn't your plan. As for Randy. I think his mom would kill him if he didn't have a wedding. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:50 And he wouldn't want to disappoint his mom. So I think he'll have a wedding and will be invited. And me especially. Yeah. And her. I was his first friend there. And her parents are very traditional. Very traditional.
Starting point is 00:24:06 So he's getting happy. I forgot about her parents. All right, Randy. Look, I'm just going to say this. I know you're probably going to listen. Oh, he will. Because he always text. Yeah, I know he does.
Starting point is 00:24:14 He always needs to know what we're saying. Yeah. Open bar or nothing. No open bar. I'm not showing up. All right. Just make it happen. All right.
Starting point is 00:24:22 I thought you were going to say dibs on best man or something. So like if Randy's gonna have a wedding, where is he gonna have it? Where would a Randy wedding be? I could see, so I have two options. At an Amazon facility. Yeah. I could see him getting. He could ask Jeff Bezos.
Starting point is 00:24:38 They drive away in a truck not realizing that this is full of bags. And they're hunting when they just deliver packages. I got my hall for the next four months. What do you think? I could see him getting bullied into having it traditionally at a church. I could see that. But I could also see him doing it maybe in like a field or something like that. My best friend did that and it's actually wasn't that bad. So if you have allergies, please bring your Claritin. But Burbank High School football field so he can relive his I don't know. I feel like he would do it somewhere like on a barn setting like a like a farmland type of thing.
Starting point is 00:25:22 Okay, yeah, that just seems like, I don't know. He did just go to a wedding that was in a barn. It was like dirt floor outside and everything not paved, not grass, not carpeted. The idea has been planted. And the time before that, when he ditched Eric's baby shower, remember that wedding was all the way out
Starting point is 00:25:40 in like Colorado or something, remember? No, it was- So that was- Oh yeah. Anyways, Menace, what do you think? Knowing Randy as well as you do after all these years, do you think he's going to try to finagle it in a way that it benefits him, like something kind of fun, like a zoo or a theme park kind of a thing?
Starting point is 00:25:56 I think he would want to, but I think toddler's on the right track, because I don't really, I don't know her parents at all. So are they religious? Do you know any background on that? Will he get bullied? Oh, that was just that was just coming from his mom. Oh, his mom to the church.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Oh, a little story. I don't know if I ever shared this with you guys. You might know maybe Eric shared it with you. But when Eric was getting married, I was asked if I would want to use the, um, the U S bank tower in downtown LA for anything. And I go, oh, well, one of our buddies is getting married. He doesn't have a venue yet. We can use it. You want to use it. And then, uh, but I think Eric wasn't into the idea, but yeah, uh, I don't that'd be fun like that kind of place
Starting point is 00:26:45 But you mentioned animals the Santa Ana Zoo we have so much fun there and they have a little train Oh, they have the train and they just expanded a bunch of it I had a really friendly camel that dude was pretty dope dude, but that's a cool thing You could say I got married up to Santa Ana Zoo. I'm sure they have weddings there. Don't you think I don't see why not? I mean, maybe most zoos have like those like booze in the dark night at the Santa Ana Zoo. I'm sure they have weddings there, don't you think? I don't see why not. I mean, most zoos have like those like, booze in the dark nights. We kinda walk around and have drinks
Starting point is 00:27:11 and look at the animals. So that sounds like fun. Yeah, I could see that. That could be, and his mom loves animals. Yeah, true. But we might have an issue. They might see Tyler and be like, one of the gorillas got loose.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Oh! Yeah, considering I'd probably be a black and white. Throw back in the cage. an issue they might see Tyler like one of the gorillas got loose there's a giant penguin here we even have a quick he's making a break for the food truck do we import them in from Vancouver, Canada? Meanwhile, there's me. Hello. Hi. How you doing? I'm just here for the open bar Don't mind me no cage needed All right real quick food news Gorillas pickles who I absolutely love they're so good child gorillas pickles
Starting point is 00:28:01 You can find them in your refrigeratorators section at your local grocery store And it used to be a sponsor, but not currently a sponsor. I just I enjoy them I would shout them out either way But they're coming out with their own pickle pizzas that you can find Oh, yeah Grocery stores, so look out for those Did you see this you love liquid death Bort? Yes
Starting point is 00:28:24 I'm sure not a lot of people are gonna be into this flavor and you're gonna find out your local Ross soon. But did you see the spicy liquid death? No, but now I'm tempted to try it. I don't know if it's at Ross. It's supposed to be hot and you know what happens when flavors go to die, they end up at Ross. Yeah, you could find your, not just Ross, And you know what happens with one flavors go to die. They end up at Ross. Yeah
Starting point is 00:28:49 Not just Ross you can find it at Burlington Yeah, grocery outlet always I mean if you ever find anything a grocery outlet buy it in bulk It's gonna be gone by next week. I went to Ross and Kevin loves Macaroons are but not the ones with the coconut What's the other ones that are like colored their marcoons or something? or not the ones with the coconut. What's the other ones that are like colored? They're marcoons or something. Anyways, he loves them. And I was at the register trying to pay out
Starting point is 00:29:08 and I saw some like, Oh, I'm gonna get these for Kevin. He loves them. He loves some good macaroons. I know, I brought them home. He's like, what the hell these are stale. Where'd you get them from? It's like, I got them from Ross at the register.
Starting point is 00:29:21 He's like, what? You can't get their food. It's always old and stale. No. And he looked at them and they were expired. OK, so that's the talk pile on this. I was really hungry one day. And I'm like, OK, there's a Taco Bell.
Starting point is 00:29:35 There's a Costco. If we wanted to go to Ross anyways, I guess we could buy food there. That was a slight mistake. Oh, no. Even though Liquid Death is still good. But we ended up at a TJ Maxx later. Dude, the selection at TJ Maxx Home Goods.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Oh, it is off the chain. Everything's great. Everything's fresh. Well, we did that Burlington taste test of all the items that they had there. It was good, man. Yeah. Don't knock it.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Just look at the labels to make sure things aren't expired when it comes to these places. Spoiler alert, they were spoiled at Ross, much like Julianne's. Oh no. Oh Menace, real quick. For food news, our friends at Ghost. Yes. Love them.
Starting point is 00:30:19 They have a couple new flavors that are coming out. First, they have the original flavor, which I've never tried, but it is sponsored with Vans warp tour what? Okay, let's go. Okay, so we'll be on the lookout for that I knew that one would be an instant hit with you now. Here's the other two flavors I want to know if you're into them or not ghost Bubble-licious, okay cotton candy and strawberry splash flavor. Oh Hell yes
Starting point is 00:30:47 Let's go I'm hitting up ghost right now ghost by the way based in Las Vegas, Nevada shout out to them. They just recently got bought by somebody though. Dr. Pepper curic Yes, they're based out of the Dallas area. so shout out to them and everybody that listened to us on 97.1, the Eagle. I'm gonna hit up Ghost and be like, yo dude, where can we get these flavors?
Starting point is 00:31:11 And if anyone's a fan of alternative rock and emo music, much like our good friend Tyler right here. And me, hello. Oh, I was gonna say, and Julianne, of course. So they have a special collab with the used right now They have really ended their cherry their cherry limeade, which is one of my favorites to be all about the used It is Branding is very cool looking. I will send it to you guys right now
Starting point is 00:31:41 But yeah, so those are the new ghost flavors coming out. Yeah So I don't know I was interviewing Kelly Osborne Years and years and years ago like has to be over 20 years ago now and You know I was just joking around like I said if I bought you a soccer ball could I kick it with you, right? Yeah, and she goes I have a boyfriend his His name is Bert and is the dude from the U's. Oh, really? This is when she was dating the guy from the U's. Anyways, fun story.
Starting point is 00:32:12 All right, everybody, I got to wrap this up. I'm heading out to Coachella Valley to go enjoy the sun, get some swimming in. I have not seen any sunlight. I'm pale AF. Tyler, it's nice to see your lovely face on a daily basis and hope to continue doing that. Julianne, I miss you so much.
Starting point is 00:32:30 I'm so happy that you're able to hop on the podcast today. I wanna shout out a couple friends. Shout out to our boy, Joe Koy, j-o-k-o-y.com. One of the most successful touring comedians of this year. They just wrote up a whole article about it, so shout out to him on that. Shout out to our very successful friend as well. His name is Gabriel Iglesias.
Starting point is 00:32:50 He is touring all of Europe this week, so. You. I'm sure he's having a lot of fun with that. Go to fluffyguy.com, and of course both of them together next year, they're gonna be doing SoFi Stadium together, so get those tickets because it's almost sold out. I know there's only like a couple of tickets left they're not really
Starting point is 00:33:08 promoting it right now because it's a year away but by that time the show hits it'll be super mega sold out so get your tickets now for that. Shout out to the Sex with Emily podcast go to sexwithemily.com she was just on the, what is it? The Call Her Daddy documentary. Alex Cooper, who is the host of Call Her Daddy, she has a docu-series that's on Hulu right now and it's called Call Me Alex. And I think it's really good. It gives you a lot of perspective on how she even started her podcast. And I found a whole new respect for Alex Cooper on how she knows how to do
Starting point is 00:33:48 everything technically when it comes to her job. She would know, let's say her whole team disappeared tomorrow. She would know how to do all the camera work. She would know how to set up all the lighting. She would know how to do all the video editing. She would know how to do all the audio editing. She would know how to set up all of her own microphones. Like, there's not a lot of talent out there that can do every single aspect of their job.
Starting point is 00:34:10 So when you hear her getting a $125 million deal from SiriusXM and people hate on her, like, dude, this girl did the work to make it happen. So props to her on that. Yeah, a lot of people think that shows like this or podcasts like that are easily put together and you can do it with minimal amount of people but most people don't understand that majority of talent don't know how to do everything let alone a couple tasks so it is very rare to have somebody like that that knows everything. That's like something that I'm always like hoping out of any producer is you know every in and out of the show so you could do anything.
Starting point is 00:34:48 And like we're lucky enough to have like people on this staff that know a lot but even still for a host to know everything. It's crazy. Insane. It actually made me say okay what do I still not know how to do at work and let me learn it. Yeah. Yeah it was really cool so check out the Call Her Daddy podcast and the Sex with Emmy podcast. Shout out to Blankets by Tracy. Go to Blankets by Tracy.com. Or just search Blankets by Tracy. Support Eric's mom.

It's kind of funny. Farmer wants a wife. Have you guys heard of it?
Starting point is 00:36:40 Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. Isn't that a reality show? Yeah. Yeah, all right. What is it on? Do you know? It's on Fox. Oh, yeah. Is that a reality show? Yeah. All right. What is it on? Yeah. It's on Fox. Oh, Hulu. Sorry. Hulu. Yeah, you can watch it on Fox. And it's pretty interesting. Some of these farmers and the women that they decide to place in front of them. But I just realized today like I've always known about Morro Bay and how they're really big into avocados and all that stuff. But I didn't realize that there was farms out there. So it's kind of cool seeing like a California farm, you know?
Starting point is 00:37:10 Yeah. Do you know what's weird is I have like a distant cousin that like has a farm out there that does avocados. I'm like, man, I should get the hook up. Hell yeah. Yeah, you should. Yeah. I know they're not. My sister has a bunch of avocados in her backyard, so she I should get the hook up. Hell yeah. Yeah, you should. Ain't she? Yeah, for sure. I know they're not. My sister has a bunch of avocados in her backyard,
Starting point is 00:37:27 so she always gives us bags of them. Oh, sweet. They're holding out on us. I know. They're mine. Noice. All right, Tyler, do you have anything to say before we leave?
Starting point is 00:37:37 Number one, reminder that Antonio Brown is a goddamn clown. And number two, I'm going to go get some sleep. That's all I got. All right, do that. Get that in. All right, do that get that in All right, Brett anything to say before we leave. Yeah, it's been a scary world like the last couple weeks So watch out for your friends. Watch out for your family Take care of your own mental health and just stay home go to the beach or something and like just watch some TV just chill
Starting point is 00:38:00 Yeah, oh, I think that's it. But if you want to watch something that I've been enjoying, it's on Apple TV, the actual Apple TV itself, the streaming service. It's called The Studio. It stars Seth Rogen. I'm loving it. It's so funny. This show is funny as hell. I ripped through all 10 episodes probably in the span of two days. It's so funny, man.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Yeah, check it out. We'll see you next week. What's new with Menace?
